In Jen's hand was a picture of a typical cat girl with the big ears, white fur and animal paws. Jen gritted her teeth as she felt a strange tingling sensation throughout her body before a white fur began growing all over her arms and legs. The fur continued to grow on her back and around her neck but it left her groin, torso, and face bare. Jenny grimaced as her teeth shifted around into a cat's fangs and her eyes pupils became slits. Then a feeling like a bad migraine came over her and cat ear's came out of the top of her head while her human ears folded in and fused shut. Jen grunted as her tail grew out of her body and trailed down to the ground. Jen then looked at her hands and saw the middle and ring overlap and fuse while her nails sunk into her fingers and grew out to sharp points.
Jen realized that all the physical changes had finished but then she felt the oddest sense of vertigo. She felt like the room was spinning but when that faded away she was surprised to see her room had changed. In the living room was a giant scratching post and the pictures hanging on the walls. What was her as a child riding a bike had changed to her having her tail stuck in the back wheel and trying to pull it free. Standing with her Mom and Dad when they went to Disneyland last year, had changed so she was about to pounce on Mickey. She picked up one of her favorite stuffed animals and heard a squeaker go off as she squeezed.
Feeling that all the changes had completed, Jen picked up the list again and read the last instruction, "Go to the address on your collar." The force that had held her fast now seemed to applying a magnetic pull on her. Jen could stand still but she found that she couldn't move in any direction except the shortest way to the address on her collar. As she walked out the door, she saw one of the neighborhood boys walking his rottweiler past her house. Lyle, Jen thought his name was, but then the dog caught sight of her and began barking loudly at her she felt the fur on her back rise and she couldn't stop herself from hissing at the dog. The dog was straining at its leash and Jen was worried that the dog would break free. Lyle regained control and waved apologetically, "Sorry, but my dog doesn't like cats."
Without a second look at her, Lyle pulled his dog down the street. Jen's fear and anger changed to embarrassment and mortification as a complete stranger had just seen her naked. He may not have realized it but it didn't stop her from feeling uncomfortable. Jen gave in to the dare's pull and made her way down the street, unsure of where she was headed. The only thing she prayed for was that her day wouldn't get worse.
