Steve felt like he had been in that alien egg for what felt like hours, with no clue it had
actually been days. Now with the egg torn open, he found what his sense of touch had told
him but he eyes had mercifully been allowed not to see until now.
His body was that of a she. He pushed and pulled at it, sure this had to be just some suit
or skin or, or something! But his body rippled, stretched, and bent like it was made of,
made of rubber. Squeezing his arms he was wondering if he even had bones! His blue
body bore little if any resemblance to the one he was supposed to have! Besides the fact it
had a nod to primates in it's structure.
Steve inched away from the pink cat that had just spoken to him, when had it learned to
speak english? He was fully convinced the reason it was not human was the reason he
wasn't feel excited at the site of a naked female, not considering he wasn't human at the
moment himself either.
"Don't worry sister, no one is going to hurt you, you're one of us now, your actions before
are now meaningless." The pink cat said in a friendly tone.
"Like you didn't hurt my buddies you m-m-m-"
"Magni." Steve had wanted to say monsters. "And you were... trying to kill us remember?"
"You're turning people into zombie slaves!"
"We are doing no such thing." The pink cat say, Steve looked glade to get a rise out of it.
"We're helping all human reacher a greater state of self!"
"Yeah! Killing really is helping them uplift to a greater state of being!"
The cat opened her mouth again, didn't say anything. Stood still, thinking for a moment,
then said intently to the other shinny colorful animal people around them.
"NO HUMAN is to be killed! Our numbers are incredibly few! And that attack is exactly why
we MUST refrain from killing people! And with our nest now split in two we can't risk just
tossing away potential Magni!!"
The pink skunk who was there said, "All who threaten our existence must be eliminated."
"It's a WASTE of resources! And Compy has allowed us to continue to run the new nest for
her under the condition we inform her of all events and do not contradict her! I feel
avoiding the death of humans not yet like us is in the greater interest of the nest. And if
we can revert dangerous humans to our cause... why not get their combat talent working
for us after we've seen them the joy of us?"
The skunk stood staring at the cat for a few moment then bowed her head, "Okay Pink
Cat. And, I really want to see the eggs we've seen spawned in the last nine days to be used
rather than just decorate the walls too." The skunk looked at the three male bound lions
standing around her, green, black, and yellow. "You shall do as PInk Cat says! If you
encounter any humans, even if armed, you shall do your best to disable them and NOT kill
them."
"Yes Ma'am." The three lions bowed. Compy's protectors had added muscle, but were all
also dinosaur Magni like herself and stay close to their long time companion. Leaving the
mammal Magni under the direct instructions of the Pinks.
The pink cat them looked back at Steve, "Well?" She was smiling.
"Nice show. But do you expect me to believe you're gonna change things just like that?"
"Sister... don't you trust me?" She leaned closer to him, she whispered in the location of
Steve's new ears, "After all, I trusted you."
Steve was shocked silent. He felt and heard rubber against rubber as the cat stroked the
right side of his face with her left paw hand that looked to have slightly stubby fingers,
"This is just about completely healed. Yellow Fox isn't so lucky, he still can't move about
under his own power yet. No legs or hands yet."
"I.... I'm sorry." Steve said though confused why he should feel sorry about it.
"Don't be, you're the first birth I've seen, so I'm not sure how our instincts work, mine
awoke on my way to the orientation chamber, I wonder if it's the scent that does it. Or it
could just vary from new Magni to new Magni. Either way, your new instincts could kick in
just about any seconds now. And you'll be at peace the spirits willing."
"Bud? It's you? It's really you? But-but-, how can you work with these... if you remember
yourself?"
"That self no matter sister, I am, and have been since I was born, Pink Cat. You are what
you are sister, Blue Vixen."
Steve felt in the back of his, her mind begin to open like a flood gate.
