Kim brought up Martin's profile. "My ex and your ex may be obnoxious, but they don't bother us on a daily basis. Martin on the other hand. I have a way to deal with him and deal with Dan's shyness about being gay." Beth looked at her lover quizzically.
"You're going to make them boyfriends? Honey, Martin is almost our age."
Kim just laughed, "Beth, I love you to death, but sometimes you lack imagination." Kim began to mess around with the profile, Beth's eyes lit up with understanding.
Kim began by lowering Martin's age to 16, same as Dan, making it so he lived next door with his parents. "He is kinda cute, maybe I'll just leave his looks alone. And those tight jeans he wears.. mm.." Beth gave Kim a bit of a heated stare. "I'd never cheat on you, but I can admire, can't I?" Kim also altered his personality making him more calm and friendly, and of course, gay. She made sure to make his parents a bit liberal, so as not to just have new obnoxious neighbors to replace the old one.
"Kim, I think this is the nicest thing you've done for your son. Other than the whole giving him life and raising him and spoiling him rotten." Beth, kissed Kim on the forehead as she pressed confirm, making sure that no one including Martin had memories of the way it was, except for Beth and Kim.
A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. Kim went over and opened it. A handsome teenager stood there, messy dark brown, almost black, hair and bright green eyes letting Kim know this was the new Martin, the memories now flowing into her head, resting next to the old. Martin was Dan's best friend, and Kim suspected more than that. The two seemed to spend as much time as they could together. Dan's boisterous and sometimes wild attitude was tempered slightly by the shyer and more reserved Martin. They actually made a cute pair. She knew that Martin's parents didn't think anything of the boys' close relationship, thinking them just very good friends.
"Hello, Ms. Henson, is Dan here? We were going to head to the beach." Den smiled a bit at Kim, then turned his bright smile to Beth, "Hello, Ms. Morris."
Kim sighed, "How many times do I have to tell you Martin, Kim and Beth are fine, Ms. Henson makes me sound old. Dan's in his room." Martin slipped through and headed to the back bedroom.

Dan looked up as Martin slipped in the door, "Dan.. did you tell your mother about.. you know. I think she knows."
Dan sighed, shaking his head as he pulled on a t-shirt, and slid his feet into flip flops. "I told you, I wouldn't say anything until you were ready. But she's not dense, I never could hide anything from her, she probably suspects."
Martin blushed a little, "I'm sorry, you know I'm nervous about how my parents will react."
Dan shrugged, "They don't seem to care about mom and aunt Beth, why should it matter with you. But like I said, when you're ready." Dan moved closer to Martin, "You wore the green trunks."
Martin just laughed. "You like the green ones." They kissed for a brief moment, Martins own nervousness breaking them apart. "My parents are going away for the weekend, you could spend the night with me then."
Dan just nodded, "Of course, now let's get our boards from the storage, I need to get some sun."

Kim smiled at the door after Martin went through, looking over to Beth. "Like a charm." She password locked Martin's profile.
