You reach the changing room and throw open the door expecting to see your clothes. What you find instead are a girl's clothes. Your clothes are gone and with them any hope of convincing Rose that you were a guy before you came into this store. You're really starting to panic now. It seems like you're cursed to spend the rest of your life as a girl. You know that Rose had said the shoes were cursed so they must be the reason things have changed. You just hope that Rose can find some way to lift the curse.
You hear Rose come up behind you and say "You see Lilly, those are the clothes you came into the store wearing. You have not transformed today. Mom would kill me if I let you remove a costume that would transform you without her being here. She still hasn't gotten over what happened to Dad. She's going to be upset that those shoes are cursed."
"What happened to your Dad?" you asked curious about it.
"You know what happened to him Lilly" Rose said with a concerned look on her face.
"I don't though. I don't have any memories of being Lilly."
"The curse must have blocked you memories. Mom is really going to be upset about this." Rose sighed and continued "Dad had accidentally taken a fairy costume meant for you off it's hanger five years ago. It transformed him into a fairy girl but when he went to transform back he couldn't. We eventually found that the costume had been cursed with a permanence spell which trapped him as a fairy girl. We haven't been able to find a counter-curse. The best we've been able to do is to reverse it for five days every year."
You step back in horror as you think that you'll be stuck this way for the rest of your life due to some permanence spell. Though the curse affecting you is different than the one that's affecting Rose's dad the same thing might be happening. You sit down on the bench in the changing room and start to cry. This was just getting to be too much to take in. You're a girl now and it looked like you would stay one. What was worse is the fact that you can't remember anything about your life as a guy except that you were one and you have no memories of this life you're suppose to live now.
Rose sat down beside you and gave you a hug. After a couple minutes like that she said in a low voice "Don't worry Lilly. We'll figure out what curse those shoes have on them. It may take awhile but we'll fix this. Why don't you try to take those shoes off and get your clothes on while I close the shop. It's going to be a long couple of days checking everything in here for curses."
Rose broke the hug, got up, and left you in the changing room. You sigh and try to take the shoes off. To your surprise they come off easily. You quickly take off the costume fearing that if you didn't something else would happen. You were wondering if you should take off the bra, panties, and leggings when you spot the bag they came in. It was sealed with everything inside it like you hadn't even opened it. You suddenly realize that with the way things were now you wouldn't have needed to open the bag. Well at least you wouldn't have to buy it now. You put everything back on the hanger and put on the clothes that were in the changing room on. After that you head out to the counter where Rose was waiting for you.
Rose looked up and asked "Ready to go home?"
"I suppose so" you answer half heartedly.
"Mr. Montague gave me the rest of the day off when I told him what happened. Put the shoes and costume in this box and we'll go. Do you remember where we live?"
"No" you answered as you put the shoes and costume in the box Rose indicated.
"Just stay close to me then. Mom will kill me if you get lost in your present condition."
You follow Rose out of the store and toward what you guess is your new home.
