That day was Thursday and the day after was Friday. Friday afternoon, I went home and finished my work before telling my mom I was going for a walk. “Be back by 6.” She said to me as I left the house. I smiled as I thought of what I was going to do with my ring. Yes, I had been experimenting with it, and yes, it could do everything that the woman said it could. This morning, pissed at the preppy girl of the high school, I had accidentally wished that she weighed 250 lb. and it happened. Then I had wished that my English teacher, Mr. Hutchins would stop talking, and he did, for the rest of the day. I got a date with the hottest, nicest girl in the school, after some physical adjusting. And now, I was out on the streets, with nothing but my ring and my imagination.
What could I do? I thought. I looked around me and saw several things that displeased me. A prostitute was trying to get a job at her corner, a bum was sleeping in an alley. I wished that the prostitute would be STD free, Drug free, and a wealthy business woman who knew how to gain money and keep it. I did the same for the Bum as they vanished off the streets. Prostitution isn’t even legal in America. I did the same for every other street ho and bum around the world. There were better things to do then die on the streets.
I walked into a gas station and went to buy a drink and as I made it to the counter, a man shoved me out of the way and pulled a gun on the Cashier. I wished nothing could hurt me and I stood up as the man shot the Cashier. I stopped him as he tried to run out the door and wished that the Cashier’s bullet would fall out and his wound would completely heal in the moment. “You will stay here.” I told the gun man. “You will tell the police everyone you’ve ever killed and you will set the gun down at my feet right now.” The man had no choice as he approached me and set the gun down at my feet.
As I passed him, going out the door, I turned to the Cashier and said “I wish for you to have a long happy life with your family.” Then I turned and left.
