(This transformation is based off my fictional idea of a monkey, which features facial fur. I know most monkeys don't have fur on their faces, but bear with me here. We'll pretend it's an endangered species or something.)
Jen's friends decide that they want to see the monkeys. Jen isn't sure why, but then she remembers that the zoo had recently obtained a rare monkey from somewhere in Asia. "What was it called again?" Jen wonders out loud. "What was what called?" Generic Classmate A asks. "That rare monkey" Jen replies. "Oh, that. I think it was called the Sprite Monkey or something." Classmate B replies. "Whatever, let's just go see it." Jen replies, eager to get the monkey trip out of the way and get back on the bus and away from all animals in general.
As the group enters the monkey house, a rank smell assaults their noses, thanks to the massive amounts of fecal matter that monkeys are currently throwing at each other. Jen keeps her head down, determined not to become one of the ugly bald faced monkeys that she's not too fond of. "Come on, it's this way" her best friend Samantha says. Cameras in hand, the girls troop off to look at the monkey, dragging Jen along with them. Jen does a pretty good job of keeping her head down, listening to the girls' oohs and aaahs and piecing together her own mental picture of the monkey based on comments made by her friends like "Look, it's got all that nice fur" and "Look at that tail, it's so soft looking". As the group turns to leave, Jen hears the telltale flash of a camera. Obviously one of her friends has taken a picture of the monkey. Muttering a few excuses of why she didn't want to see it just now, Jen turns around and walks to the food court. Spending the rest of the day eating food, Jen is able to avoid seeing any animals and, just in case, decides to become a vegetarian. As the group is about to leave, one of Jen's friends says that she got a picture of the rare monkey, and the teacher says that they'll have to show it on the projector board when they get back to class. Feeling a little apprehensive, Jen sits on the bus, wondering how she'll get out of this situation.
When they get back to school, Jen's class immediately files in to their last classroom of the day with Mrs. Ironfist. Mrs. I proceeds to bring down the projector screen and put the picture of the Sprite Monkey on the wall for the whole class to see. Jen covers her face and tries not to look at it, but that weird freak Kyle drags her face up when the teacher isn't looking and makes her look at the picture. Jen instantly feels a change, but not before she backhands Kyle, sending him sprawling out a window to his death. Since this is 'part of the change' or just because no one liked him, the teacher doesn't do anything.
Suddenly, Jen feels a draft on her body. Looking down, she realizes that her clothes have vanished, leaving her completely naked. Shrieking and covering her breasts, Jen whips her head around to see if anyone had noticed. Luckily, no one seems to care. Feeling an itching sensation all over her body, Jen looks down to see tiny iridescent hairs poking out of her skin. As the hair thickens, Jen realizes that it is fur. The fur covers her whole body, except for her chest and face, which are covered with a sandy brown layer of fur instead. Looking down at her hands, Jen feels the bones reshape and reform into monkey paws. Looking down at her feet, she sees the same thing happening, except with her feet, they gain more dexterity. Feeling her furry ears, Jen realizes that they have moved up to the top of her head and are now round.
Feeling a strange tugging sensation at her backside, Jen reaches around just in time to feel a pearly white tail growing out of her spine. The tail is very flexible, and sends shivers down Jen's spine whenever it moves. Feeling changes at her face, Jen reaches up to find that her head has reshaped and her nose and mouth have pushed out, except these changes leave her with more delicate features than a normal monkey, with her lips, nose, and brow not being as pronounced, so her face kind of looks like a lemur's. Feeling the last few bones pop into their new places, Jen's changes complete as she shrinks down to about a foot long from nose to tail. Scampering up on her desk, Jen waits for the lesson to continue.
