You sit paitently, wondering what this human/dog has in mind for you. He seemed more than a little off balance before.
Bruno stands up and heads over to a small desk in the corner, then rummanges though the drawers. "I found this in a consignment of items that Jack got some months ago. He never knew it was there and I took it off the inventory." He smiles and holds up a small, gold charm. It takes you a second to realize that it's actually a dog tag. "It's nice. I actually almost used it myself, but thankfully working with Jack has cured me of some of my impulsiveness." He walks it over and shows it to you up close.
You don't see the big deal with it. It's nicer than the tag you've got, but simply has the name Freya on it in fancy English script.
"You see, this item is rather interesting. It actually is far older than it looks, at least the metal is. The metal was originally a decorative portion of a dog harness that goes back to ancient Scandinavia. The metal is real gold and has been reworked a number of times over the years, but the magic that it contains has stayed true." Bruno reached over and with a firm pull yanked the name tag off your collar, then replaced it with the new one. "I've been saving this for the right test subject."
No sooner does the tag get attached but you feel strange again, much like when you put on the costume in the first place. Your skin feel warm, and you try to stand, but fall on your face hard. The world goes dark.
You wake to the feeling of a large, wet tongue grooming your ears. Groggy, you try to open your eyes, only to see Bruno in dog form laying next to you. "What happened?" you ask.
"You passed out from the transformation," said Bruno. "What do you think, Freya?"
With dread, you stand and look yourself over. Instead of the male mutt that you once were, you look larger, sleeker. More like a wolf than a dog. Worse, though given Bruno's leer, you're not surprised to find that you're female!
