The Ointment Store

You don't say a thing about "Fat cow" or "clumsy ox", and we don't trample.

My wife didn't seem to be noticing that much at first, despite that her body seemed to be thickening, bulking up. She suddenly grabbed her sides in a self-hug.

"What's-WHAT'S HAPP" She yelled before she collapsed onto the floor. Likewise, I so did collapse. It felt like I was being pulled in every direction.

I fell onto my back, seeming to be the only comfortable position. I couldn't tell it through the pain but my body was elongating, nearly ten feet long when I totally found out. I burned. Hard. It was like my skin was on fire. I couldn't scratch, my arms and legs suddenly extended fully, and in a crack my legs poked back so they were identical to my arms. My fists balled up and my feet spasmed.

I wouldn't notice it until later that around now was when a bovine tail had emerged from our rears in between our legs. The sounds were a blur to me, everything was a blur. All I could tell was my jaw was being pulled on, pushing forward as all of a sudden my mouth became adapted to chewing on cud rather than meat.

My tongue was lapsed forward too, a table fell across my stomach. I tried to push it and the remnants away but I couldn't grasp on anything. My hands by now were solid keratin hooves. I tried to scream for help, along with my wife, but by now nothing intelligible emerged from our mouths, only something that sounded more along the lines of grunts and wails.

The pain was so intense, especially on my ears and my skull that I passed out. Sinking into darkness I finally felt peace...this torture was ended.....I wondered if I was dead. And if so, my wife was likely dead as well.

I don't know how long later, nor did I care, but I woke up still on my back. The kitchen was in ruins from all our thrashing, and our clothes were destroyed. I felt all sorts of new appendages, callousness, and bulkier. I tried to move but all I could do was thrash around helplessly. I was a cow, through and through. And I couldn't see my wife...I could only imagine that she too was a cow, a red cow if I were to go by. Finally, I had managed to roll on my side and collapse into the living room. Standing up to my full height, everything seemed small....and right now was when I noticed my wife, still unconscious. But like me...a cow.

What were we to do now?!
