Jake was a normal boy in middle school. He was almost in high school, but wasn't anticipating going. His sister would be there, every day. His sister, Melissa, was about the biggest bitch anyone could ever be. She always bragged about how athletic she is, how she gets all the guys, how good she does in school... Jake hated it. Unfortunately, he was home with her every day. Their parents are usually out of town on business trips, so they stay there alone. Luckily, Jake has a couple hours to himself, before Melissa gets home from work.
Walking home from school, he sighed, as this was just another day. Another day of the same old, same old. He stepped up to his house to unlock the front door. A package was on his porch. "Ugh, it's probably some gift for Melissa.", he groaned. He picked it up and noticed that it said his name on the front. "Huh. Wonder what this could be." He opened his door and took it up to his room. He swiftly tore it open.
A small note lay inside, on top of a load of packing pellets. Jake read it aloud: "'Thank you for purchasing a Transformation Gun! We hope this brings change to your life.' What? I don't remember ordering... oh right, it was in that newspaper. It was cheap and sounded like a fun idea, but I doubt this piece of junk works. Ah well, no shame in trying it." He takes out the toy gun and examines it. "Wow, for a cheap toy like this, it sure has a fancy monitor on the back." He turns it on. The monitor flashes, and a 3D image of a boy that looked alot like him appeared. "Whoa, that looks just like me!" He was surprised, but this piqued his interest.
He flipped through some of the different modes, looking for anything interesting. "Weird. Maybe I could try it. But what if it does work? If I turn myself into something weird, I might not be able to turn back. How can I test this out...?"
