Nate walked up the steps and pulled his keys out and unlocked the door. He turned back to Ty, who was standing at the bottom of the steps.
"Would you like to come in?" he asked.
"Sure," replied Ty.
They both walked in, setting down their bookbags by the door.
"If you don't mind, I'm going to go and change into something a little more comfortable. I'll be right back," said Nate.
"Okay," replied Ty as he watched Nate run up the stairs and disappear into the bedroom. He took this opportunity to look around the house. To his right was the formal living room, which was occupied by a couple couches, a coffee table and a bookshelf overstuffed with books. Directly beyond that was the dining room, with the table half covered with magazines, newspapers and other discarded mail. Nate wasn't even out of high school and was already living like the typical male bachelor. To the left of the Dining room was the kitchen, which was meticulously clean, without a single dirty dish or crumb to be found, something Ty found interesting. One room being so clean, whereas others were in disarray. Behind the dining room was the family room, occupied with a large HD LCD television, big overstuffed couches and a floor to ceiling brick fireplace.
Nate came downstairs again, having changed out of his school clothes into shorts and a t-shirt. He had also shifted back to his human form. Ty couldn't help but have a look of surprise to see him back in his human form, he had gotten used to seeing him in his werewolf form.
"Okay, well that's done," said Nate. "I hope you don't mind, I don't like being the wolf indoors. I tend to shed."
It took a moment for the last comment to sink in to Ty. "Of course you do."
"You know, you may be the first person I've brought home since my parents died. I've just gotten used to being alone. I know that sounds really sad and pathetic, but it's not. I mean, I really like the quiet, being able to come and go as I please. I have sole possession of the remote control, which is very important," said Nate.
Ty felt there was something else that Nate was trying to admit, something important. "But..."
"It's just that, I find myself wishing, late at night, that I had someone to share my life with. I mean, I know there's a part of me that's weird and different, but hello, we also have a satyr and a centuar in our class. Weird and different is pretty common in this town."
"You know, Brian is kind of a douche bag," blurted out Ty.
"Kind of? Everyone acts like he's all that just because he's a Centaur. He may know a lot, but he's still a dick. Oh and I saw him take a dump on the playground once, just like any other horse. I, uh, am not impressed," replied Nate. "Whereas, I am socially ostracized just because I occasionally turn into a werewolf."
"Makes no sense to me." Ty started moving slowly across the kitchen towards Nate. He couldn't help himself. There was something about Nate, beyond him being a werewolf, even, that he found adorable. "I think you make a vary beautiful werewolf, and if the others can't see that, then fuck 'em."
"Are we about to get it on? Because I'm harder than a diamond in an ice storm right now," replied Nate.
Ty couldn't help but burst of laughing. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry. But did you just quote Talladega Nights? That's awesome."
Ty grabbed Nate and planted the most passionate kiss he could on him. He wrapped his legs around Nate's torso and continued the kiss. Moving his fingers through his hair. Nate slowly kneeled and then laid them both down on the floor. They were indeed about to get it on.
