"No," Bella said, "Boris isn't the only werewolf here at all. He was the first one, but certainly not the only one. You see, from time to time at moonrise, I used to let Boris...pleasure me. A werewolf's tongue can reach into far...deeper places than a regular human. One night, Boris got a little rough, and I got a little careless. The only difference is that I'm a witch, and my inherent magic keeps my werewolf side at bay, at least until I choose to let it out." Bella stared at Carrie, who still hadn't moved, Carrie's eyes locked on Bella, hanging on her every word.
"Carrie, Carrie, come on," John said, "Snap out of it!"
Bella turned her attention to Johm, furious. "Silence!" she shouted. "I was going to make this pleasant, possibly for the both of you, but your constant WHINING has made me ANGRY!" She stalked away from Carrie, getting right up next to John. "Now, you fool, it's time you saw the dark side of Halloween Town. It's time you saw the pure power of a werewolf who can use magic!"
Bella paced, anger rolling off of her. With quick motions, she pulled rings from her fingers, and an amulet from around her neck, tossing them on the counter. "All of these things I forged myself during the day," she told him, "Each one did its part to reign in my animal nature, each one weakening the hold that the wolf inside of me struggled to maintain after dark. And...and they do the job well." Bella rubbed her temples, wobbling for a moment, off balance.
"But now," she said, laughing, "All that protection is gone. And..and in a moment, you'll be left alone with something far hungrier than a witch!"
She turned away, giving John one last cruel smile. "The only real question is if you'll be my next meal, or her first one," she said, gesturing to Carrie. "LIGHT OF LUNA, LIGHT THIS ROOM, GRANT ME POWER, SEAL HIS DOOM!" Bella shouted, her hand producing a ball of light. She tossed it up to the ceiling, where it exploded, bathing the room in a soft white glow. Any other time, John would have considered it to be pleasant, pretty, or possibly even romantic, but under the circumstances, it was anything but. It was some form of magical moonlight, and it was having a profound (and rather expected) effect on Bella.
"HRRGGHHH!!!HRRRGGHHAAA!!!" Bella growled and grunted wordlessly as her mouth grew filled with fangs. Her body rippled, stretching, growing massive with muscle, and the dress exploded off of her body, which now was unrecognizable as human. She fell to the floor as her body continued to change, her face stretching into a muzzle, a tail popping from the base of her spine.
John felt the magical bonds which held him dissipate, and he ran to Carrie, trying to drag her away before the metamorphosis was complete. He knew if her control over him had lapsed, Carrie also had her willpower back. It also meant that Bella's bestial side was almost totally out.
"Come on, Carrie!" he said, grabbing her hand...
