The four arm thing is not actually as good a deal as it sounds. Coordinating four arms in combat so that your moves don't interfere with each other takes training, and Roberta wasn't quite there yet.
Which was good from Jasmine's point of view, as she was finding the Shiva vixen more formidable than she had first anticipated. The thing's regenerative capacity was frightening, given the combination of kitsune magic and the original Tommy's modern anatomical knowledge. An army of these things with modern weapons and kitsune powers would be a serious problem.
But angels are formidable themselves, and Jasmine's blade wove a steel net of defense. Her focus was unwavering enough that she did not even divert energy to regenerate her ear.

Magical foxgirl Akane, as she though of herself while she was in her current form as a Japanese schoolgirl with fox ears and a tail, (as a human he had been an anime freak, what do you expect?) was finding the fight interesting, but increasingly chafing at not being able to do anything. It is not in the nature of the kitsune not to interfere.
There was a nice piece of greasy fat on the leg of lamb she was chewing. It would be much more effective on the slick floor of the hall than the frankly rather overrated banana peel, she thought. Of course, there was the question of who to try to trip. Jasmine was really no fun at all, and Roberta was on some level a sister. Nonetheless Akane was on the same team as Jasmine, and Roberta would hopefully be saved from her current fate as Tamthis's slave if Jasmine defeated her. And if Roberta turned her head, she would see the unconscious body of Kyriel, and things could get very bad if that happened. (Akane noticed that Jasmine was trying to lead the vixen guard away from Kyriel.)
Akane focused on Roberta's footwork. Ah, she was about to step right there. Akane threw the lump of fat.

Lucy gave a wolfish smile, and grew wings. Vicki followed suit. The two dived towards each other.

Luna and Erica had drawn their weapons before they even hit the ground. They were surrounded by a snarling pack of humanoid wolves.

"A kitsune built this place. A kitsune can unbuild it." Keiko proclaimed.
"Do you have any idea how powerful Karther was?"
"Little tick, did you know that in my native country, my people are worshipped as goddesses?"
"Oh great, this is the scene where you lose it completely?"
Keiko laughed. "Don't worry, I know I'm not divine in the sense that the god of the faiths is divine. Far from it indeed. But I do have some power, and this magic is familiar to me, particularly since the one who made it also made me into a foxgirl. Now let me concentrate." She felt the deep weaving of magic that sustained the city, a weaving that was already fraying as Karther was no longer there to maintain it. Slowly, patiently, she began to unravel it.

"Such a fool. I was such a fool." Alexandra muttered, tears running down her face, leaving long tracks in her fur.
"Alexandra, I need you now." Lisa began. "The other two are unconscious. I'm not sure I can maintain this defensive barrier if it comes under pressure, and in any event my sisters may need me in the battle. You may need to get these other two to safety. You know the palace better than anyone. I need you, Kathy needs you, Jennifer needs you. We all need you."
Alexandra turned to Lisa. "Useless." she muttered.
"No! Please Alexandra! Pull yourself together!"
Alexandra swallowed hard. "Alright. There's a storage room off the side stairs. There should be enough room for all of us."
Lisa gave Alexandra a chaste kiss on the forehead. "There's the brave foxgirl I know."
