Jake hunched over in pain as he could feel his insides rearrange. The first thing he realized was a pain in his feet. He sat on the floor and pulled off his shoes and socks. He stared in horror as his feet developed a thin webbing in between them. He wiggled his toes and found they move only in unison, because they were connected. He heard the bones in his feet crack as they began lengthening. He gritted his teeth as his feet grew into long flesh-toned flippers. He tried standing up only to find his feet would no longer flex or bend. His webbed toes were fixed so he had to wobble. The next change he felt came from his head. He acquired a giant migraine as his head pulled out into a hard, black beak. He couldn't scream, as his beak did not respond.
