I look at Ryan and he looks back at me, seeing that I was eyeing the blue crescent moon Ryan just smiles. Ryan walks over to me, putting his hand on my shoulder, and shakes his head in disappointment.
"I don't know what you think you are doing, but you have already had one piece of candy and you know know what happens if you eat another!"
"Yes, I know what happens if I do, I change permanently and stay the way that I am. For some reason, I think there is a loop hole in this deal and the only way to beat it is to eat the candy that turns you into a werewolf."
"Why do you think that is?"
"A werewolf can change back and forth from being normal to the werewolf creature."
Ryan shrugged his shoulders, thinking that it couldn't hurt you to try. If you ate the candy and nothing happened, you could atleast change back and forth from female to male, so he was up for the attempt.
Wondering if what I was about to attempt would work, I look over to the store attendant who told us that Jackie was cursed permanently to see if he might have something to add, but he was silent. I decided to walk up to him, stare him in the eye and ask him directly.
"So, if I eat this candy, will I be cursed and stuck the way I am now?"
"Um... Yes you will be young one."
"You know... as the woman right now, I can hear the deceit in your voice, so I know you are lying."
"No... I am not! Eat it at your own risk, but I am telling you the truth!"
I look over at Jackie and she is smiling, knowing that he really was lying.
"You are lying mister... and you know it! Fess up and tell the truth!"
"Alright fine! The only candy in here that will undo other stuff done to you is the werewolf candy. The only thing is, Jackie will not change regardless because that curse cancels out the curse of the werewolf. Also, any one of you here who eats the crescent moon candy will be stuck as a werewolf and no other candy will help you change further. So be wise in eating your crescent moon candy children."
I look over at Jackie as she looks at me, her eyes asking me if he was serious and I return the look with just a nod. I knew that he was telling the truth this time.
Ryan standing by my side, took a crescent moon numbered twenty one and slapped it in my hand. Ryan then took one with the same number for himself and we ate it at the same time.
