You come to after a short time, your throat feeling raw and sore. You gasp for air, relieved to find that indeed, you can breathe. You're back on the couch, with the three girls staring down at you. You heave yourself into a sitting position, preparing to run, though you realize that there's not much chance you'll get by them.
"Don't try to run," Marsha says, "You certainly won't get very far.
"Marsha? Lisa? Justine?" you say, "What's this all about?"
Lisa and Justine look uncomfortable. Justine won't even meet your gaze. Something tells you that they weren't in on the plan.
"You had plans with us for tonight," Marsha replied. "What's the matter, did you forget?" She had a sarcastic tone, smirking at you the whole time.
"I...uhh...yeah..yeah, I forgot," you lie, "And really, this isn't the way to make friends."
Marsha slaps you across the face, hard. "LIAR!" she yells.
You notice that Justine flinched as you were hit, and Lisa certainly isn't comfortable with what's happening either.
"Okay...okay. Look, girls, I just found you all a little...umm...intimidating and I got cold feet. I'm sorry, can't we just let bygones be bygones?" You're telling the truth. The wish you made to the genie seemed like such a good idea, but when you'd met the girls yesterday, you realized just how dangerous it had been.
"Intimidating?" Marsha asked, "Intimidating? Ha! You haven't seen ANYTHING yet!"
"Come on now, Marsha," you plead, "Just..just cut me some slack here. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to all three of you. What the hell do I have to say to make this end?" You keep trying to make eye contact with Lisa and Justine, hoping that making them identify with you might help. If they see you as a nice guy who fucked up, as opposed to some sort of faceless asshole, maybe they can talk some sense into Marsha.
"It's too late for that, Chad," Marsha says. "You acted like prey. We only take the strong. We liked you. We ALL liked you. We were ready to bring you into our family. You would have lived a life unlike anything you could have ever dreamed, every man's fantasy! But now, you're just meat. Meat for the beast!" She turns to Justine and Lisa, saying, "Girls, it's time."
