Jen opened her eyes and looked around with her Byakugan. She was in a sleeping bag in a three room tent. The tent was in the large clearing where the battle took place. Sam was watching her. Jen relaxed her Byakugan.
"Once more among the living I see." said Sam.
"Where'd this tent come from nya? How long have I been out nya?" asked Jen.
"A few hours. You know, it was pretty dumb taking on Domon Kashu like that. He's an incredibly skilled Gundam Fighter." said Sam.
"He started it nya." said Jen, still in a little bit of a daze.
"Well, you sure finished it. Hey Naruto! Jen's up!" yelled Sam.
"Oh, hey Jen! Listen," said Naruto, "I know you didn't want to give up but, there is such a thing as going to far."
"When I was little nya, I always watched this show about a card game called Yugioh with Sam nya. The main character always said 'The duel isn't over until the last card is played' nya. Well, I had one last card and I wasn't gonna waste it nya. Problem is, throwing that kunai took too long and I ran out of chakra nya." said Jen.
"You haven't been using chakra for more than a week. That's to be expected. You need to train a bit more before you can fight for real." said Sam.
"What're you talking about?! She kicked butt out there! There were a few seconds where I thought I couldn't take her!"
"When she can take on Domon's Gundam, then I'll be impressed." said Jen.
"Excuse me?!" said a lady's voice from outside. "I lost my friend, by the looks of this clearing, he's been here. Have you seen him?!"
Sam left the tent and walked to the lady "Oh God, can it be. Rain Mikamura?!" said Sam.
"H-how do you know my name? Have we met before?" asked Rain.
"No. My name's Sam. Let's just say I hear things. He was on his way to meet up with the rest of the Shuffle Alliance when he saved me from an attack." said Sam.
"Oh my God, are you okay?" asked Rain.
"It was just a couple of kunai." said a voice.
"Domon! Oh my God! What happened to you?!" asked Rain.
"Just a friendly duel with a catgirl. Nothing... to... ugh!" Domon passed out.
"Domon!" yelled Rain. She ran to his side.
"Well Doctor Mikamura, how is he? Did my friend rough him up to much?" asked Sam.
"How did you- never mind. He's got 3rd degree burns in several places, and his right arm is broken. Did he lose?" asked Rain.
"No he won, barely. If only I had been conscious, I could've stopped the fight. Jen's just a Genin, she can't just fight Neo Japan's Gundam Fighter; The King of Hearts and expect to win! BTW, a few burns and a busted arm can't stop him. I think what really caused the pain was his crest. See the way it glows?" said Sam.
"I don't have my medical bag, may we use your tent?" asked Rain.
"Sure, there's a med room in it." They carried Domon into the tent's med room and laid him down. "If you don't mind, I'll take care of this." said Sam.
"What can you do?" asked Rain.
"I learned a trick from a friend before I left the village. Here, watch." Sams hand began to glow with chakra. She used her hand to cut his sleeve open and placed her hand on his arm where it was broken. She could her the bone snap into place. "That should do it. Why don't you check it Rain." said Sam.
"Okay... what?! That's impossible! The bone is completely healed! How'd you do that? Magic?" said Rain.
"No, not magic. It's just a simple ninja trick." said Sam.
"Ninja huh? I thought this place was strange. Which way is the nearest town?" asked Rain.
"It's northeast but you don't wan to go there." said Sam.
"Where should we go?" asked Rain.
"Stick with us. Were on our way to a small outpost town." said Sam.
"Okay. It's just that, our Gundam is damaged and-" Rain was interrupted.
"Burning or Shining?" asked Sam.
"Burning but, how did you-" Rain was interrupted again.
"Your not going to find any Gundam parts anywhere in this world." said Sam.
"Oh, okay. Wait! I think he's waking up!" said Rain.
"Huh... Oh that's right! I have something for the catgirl." Domon gave Sam a scroll. "I've spent enough time in this strange world to know how to make that. She needs it more than me." said Domon.
"A scroll for me nya? Thanks nya." said Jen as she came out from under the covers. "Hmm... Burning Finger Jutsu, sounds interesting nya. I'll go try it out now nya." She exited the tent. Rain was just staring at where she was.
"Rain, you see, my friend is-" Sam was interrupted.
"Yes I'm sure it's a tragic story but I don't think I want to know. Let's just go watch." said Rain. They all followed Jen outside to watch the jutsu. When they got outside Jen was sitting about 15 feet in midair, reading the scroll.
"Dragon, monkey, tiger huh nya? Right nya, tatsu, saru, tora! Fire Style! Burning Finger Jutsu!" Jen's hand glowed red. She dove. *Crash* She slammed an open palm strike on the ground away from the tent. A crater formed quickly and the ground in the crater caught fire. "Whoa nya! Powerful, I like it nya! Thanks Domon nya! Now to climb that tree."
