"Dammit! That wasn't suppose to happen," Fransisco cursed to himself as he began to write down more information on the spells onto the paper scattered across the table. "At least now I know understand how my twin transformed from Joy Rapture to Joy Inderwood-Mendes."
A door closed somewhere in the house, the echo reaching Mr. Mendes and he paused in his work. "Better not let the same thing twice happen," he said and began to prepare another spell; a spell like the one he'd just used on himself, one that would bind the other person to this doll house for the moment.

Amelia awoke and the first thing she noticed was that Anna was no longer sleeping next to her. And then she saw that she wasn't even in the same room as before. Wondering where her sister could be, Amelia slipped out of bed and hugging her naked body, she looked around the room.
It was your average room with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, vanity, canopy bed, and walk-in closet. Looking in the closet, Amelia found several, floor length dressers, made of the most luxurious and softest Taffeta she'd ever seen. Selecting a blue dress, she tried it on.
It was cut high so nothing of her chest was showing and then tied behind her neck, while the dress draped down to the floor and ended in a white hem. With the dress, she found a slip that began at her waist and ran down, stopping just shy of her ankles. Looking in a mirror, Amelia hoped she wasn't overdressed, noted that the padding in the chest area made her bust look one cup size bigger and exited the closet and room.
Looking up and down the hall, wishing her sister was here, Amelia hugged herself again. Finally after a moment of hesitancy, she started down the hallway, heading left from the bedroom.
At first she didn't find anything and after the fifth door, she closed it in frustration. Fearing that she may have slammed it to hard, she quickly began walking the hall until it turned around the corner. Here there were more doors and Amelia, who was getting tired of searching, called out, "Anna? If you're there, please answer."
But no answer came and so Amelia went back to searching rooms. The first door she tried in this corridor led into a bathroom and she wondered briefly if she need a bath. Figuring no, she tried the next door, which led into a library.
Inside, she saw floor to ceiling bookcases, a large fireplace that three grown men could easily stand in and several tables. One had a bunch of books opened and several papers scattered next to them. Curious, she picked one of the books up and trying to decypher what was written, she read it out loud accidentally.
A feeling that was familiar washed over her and suddenly she remembered something about a man named Mendes and two boys; one twelve named Josh and the other thirteen and named Ric.
The feeling was so pleasant and the memories so familiar, she failed to notice as her clothes melted away and her legs began to fuse together and her body underwent a transformation as it grew about five years older. Cold water brought her back to her senses and looking around, Amelia first panicked as she realized that she was under water and then it dawned on her that she could breathe rather easy.
Still, she wanted to get out and so swam in the direction something told her was the surface. Coming up, she splashed water everywhere and looking around, Amelia discovered that one, she was in a very, very large - bigger then Olympic size - pool that had no chlorine in it and the second was that the reason that she was swimming so easily, was that from the waist down she had a beautiful, flowing fish tail that was pale blue in colour.
As she stared at it, it dawned on her that her body was older and looking at the pert B cups that made up her chest, sorting out her mind, Amelia figured that she had to be at least sixteen years old. Scared because she'd turned into a mermaid and wasn't sure how to undo this, she began to do a backstroke, letting her mind drift and hoping for an answer to come.

Fransisco Mendes came out of the room he'd been sitting in - hiding - while Amelia had been in the library. "At least she's contained within the house and I don't have to figure out a way to bring her back," he thought as he sat back down to continue working with the book, glad that there would be no more interruptions.
