The Arcade

The prize turns out to be trouble

added 14 years ago O

It was stuck and no matter how Andrew twisted and turned it, the pink egg simply wouldn't open for him. Frustrated, he set the object down and decided to go with his original idea; play one of his video games. Selecting an RPG shoot-em up game from the bookcase next to his desk, he exited his room.

In the living room, he turned the T.V. on and had just booted up the system when the doorbell rang. Leaving everything the way it was, Andrew set down the controller he'd just picked up and headed for the front door.

Opening it, he found himself face to face with Dani, who immediately offered the greeting, "What's up?"

In response, Andrew said, "Buddy's looking for you," turned around and headed for the living room. Behind him, he could hear Dani kicking off his shoes as he closed the front door.

In the living room, Andrew picked the control up and sat back down as Dani entered. As Andrew began to play, Dani said, "Yeah. I got ahold of Buddy. Wanted help with something. Hey, heard you were at the new arcade in the mall. Any good games?"

"Eh," Andrew replied. "Same as pretty much any arcade, only bigger."

Setting down the control, he got up and headed for his room, where he collected the pink egg. Returning to the living room, he tossed the object to Dani and as he picked up the controller, said, "Won this from one of the older prize machines."

Dani caught it and looking at it asked, "Have you opened it yet?"

Andrew shrugged and said, "Can't. It's stuck tight for some reason. Oh well, probably some lame prize, like a cheap plastic ring."

Dani had begun to twist the egg and as he did so he asked, "So you really wouldn't mind if I tried to open it and see what's inside of it, would you?"

"Eh," was all Andrew said as he returned his attention back to his game.

Dani twisted it one way and then turned it another. It was only when he pressed the two halves together and then twisted that it opened up and out sprang three pieces of fabrics; one light purple, one light yellow and one bright pink. From where he was sitting, Andrew saw this and as the pieces of fabric floated to the couch, Dani caught the purple one, Andrew asked, "What are they? Because they look like handkerchiefs to me."

Dani began to laugh and holding up the purple one, he exclaimed, "Someone packed this egg full of strapless bras. This one looks like it would fit my older sister, Maria."

"That's just great," Andrew responded, setting down the controller and picking up the pink one, briefly noting that the tag said it was a B cup. "What exactly am I supposed to do with three bras. Give them to my mother?"

Dani shrugged and as a joke, held the purple bra up to his chest and exclaimed in a falsetto voice, "Look at me! I'm a lady with a..." he looked at the tag and then finished, "a C cup." and began to laugh even harder then before.

Andrew just sighed and seriously wondered what he should do with this stuff. As he thought about what he should do, Dani said, "Dare you to try on the one you're holding," to which Andrew only gave him a strange look and considered if Dani might not be insane.

After a second or two, Andrew retorted back, "Only if you'll try on the one your holding."

Dani grinned and responded back immediately. His answer was....
