Wolf Coven - Pack Meeting!

added by TimGee250 14 years ago O

Brenda had been assured by Solange that there would be plenty of meat for her, with Lisa's permission of course. Debra and the rest of the pack had transformed and escorted Wendy back to Evansville. Since they had to be cautions, it was well past four in the afternoon when they arrived back at Debra's home. Lisa and Solange arrived a half hour later.

"Alright guys," said Lisa. "We had quite a mess at the Cramer home. Brenda overreacted and sunk her fangs into the arm of a ten year old girl. She's been punished for the month."

This caused quite a stir among the pact, it actually seemed quite lenient for the offense.

"The ONLY reason for this leniency is that there had been some confusion over what I wanted her to do, otherwise that would have been it for Brenda. Do you understand me, sisters? I will NEVER ask you to gift a child. Never! So consider Brenda's punishment a warning. Any questions? Yes, Debra?"

"Er, Lisa, for the sake of Wendy, and her brother Marco, what is the rule of discovery. We had to leave him behind of course, we did not see him or smell him, as far as we can tell, he does not know anything about us, but considering the circumstances, he's obviously bewildered about his sister..."

Lisa nodded, understanding. She turned to the glossy black wolf before her, stroking her head. "Wendy, if Marco were to know of your gift, we'd have to gift him as well, sweetie."

Wendy nodded somberly.

"Only a few special people in the government...as you well know, even know we exist."

"The other question, my Alpha, is what the heck was going on over at the Cramer house, eh?"

"Simple and brutal Deb. Since we have to assume Terry Cramer was going to tell others about us, we would simply make sure that his father would already be one of us if he told him."

"Oh, I see. So now he'll actually be coming home to a family of TWO werewolves thanks to Brenda? Awfully convenient for our little family, isn't it?"

"Not at all Debra, why would you say that? It throws a monkey wrench in things. Girls, I explained to Brenda that I have no idea what will happen to Tina. I mean...will she change next month? When she reaches puberty? When she turns eighteen? Never? Tonight? I don't fucking KNOW. What will be her nature? I don't know guys, it's something we'll have to watch carefully."

Debra nodded her agreement, but she was a bit put out over this new development. Certainly the non-fatal shooting of Wendy had given them reason to expand the pack, but with the defeat of Ramer, wouldn't it be more prudent to keep things small. Something was definately going on with her friend and lover.

"If there are no more questions," said Lisa, we'll adjourn for now. "I have no plans for tonight, so it will be fun and frolic..." she remembered something else and went over to the refrigerator behind the bar and pulled out two bottles of Dom Perignon and some glasses. "I'd like to propose a toast to our newest sisters: Agent Wendy Patel of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Debra's daughter and mine, Heather Peters and Dita Singer!"

After the cheers had died down, Lisa anounced again. "Moonrise is at 6:38...so I will see you all there.

"How's that little girl doing, doctor?"

"She's asleep John, just sleeping. It's strange, you brought her in unconscious, but there don't seem to be any injuries or wounds."

"Yeah, we checked the blood sample against the blood we scraped off her arm. It's hers for sure, but no marks. I don't get it."

"And her father?"

John Thompson shook his head. "He was gone when we got there. Coroner says he," he checked to ensure that Tina was still lying quietly, "he'd estimate the time of death around 9:15 last night. Cause of death loss of blood from a severed artery in the shoulder, severed by a shattered collar bone in a strong bite wound."

The doctor nodded, "It wasn't foul play then?"

"You know Doc, I sure would like to know what it was that attacked him. I'd say a large bear is what did it."

"...There aren't any BEARS in Indiana."

"I know." He grinned. "Yeah, and I checked around for any escaped animal reports, there are none."

"Coyote?"

"Too small, as you probably guessed. Tina is the key. I'm sure she can tell us something. And, I should be the one to tell her the sad news."

"Who's going to take care of her, John? Does she have any family that can take care of her?"

Sgt. Thompson puffed out his cheeks and blew hard. "She has a brother, Terry. I let him off with a warning once for reckless driving. As far as we can tell, he's across the Atlantic in Ireland based on the messages on the answering machine."

"What's he doing in Ireland?"

"Got me, none of our business, he's eighteen years old, but I'm going to have to get in touch with him through the Red Cross. He's just picked up some added responsibility."
