In truth, Emily had no plans what so ever to change Jeff back. When she changed him into a bitch puppy, she knew exactly what she was getting into. So when Jeff, now Jenny, had an accident on the floor, that cost her another day. When Jenny let her playful puppy nature get the best of her, it cost her another day. When Jenny got loose from the yard and went running about the neighborhood, that cost her three days. And the charges getting adding up and up.
In the end, Jeff spent two years as a dog named Jenny and her parents where none the wiser because Emily had changed the reality so that only she and Jeff knew what had happened.
Now, two year later, Emily came to Jeff and pointing the Chronivac at her, Emily commented, "You've been really good lately. Not having any accidents. Chewing stuff up. Sneaking off to be with that son of a bitch two house down and such."
