"Well..." Amanda grinned at me. "Let's start this the intellectual way...
I wish, that all the wisdom from the books in the library will be mine!"
I looked at her with a sudden respect. To wish for wisdom wouldn't... well,
and hasn't actually been my first thought, when getting the ring. Perhaps it
was... kind of... good, that this dangerous treasure was in her thoughtful
possession now? - At leasts, I hoped this.
Amanda had sat down in the meanwhile and got very quiet. Apparently
it needed quite a concentration to get familiar with such a lot of wisdom.
I wondered, what the majority of the books in the library was about.
Were they documentaries about the world? About history or the sciences?
Were they romantic novels? Crime fiction? Fairy tales?
Or were they nightmares?
Suddenly Amanda was moving again. She looked at me and she really
seemed impressed.
"This is so incredible... I almost lost my mind between all this bits and bytes
of information..." She laughed. "I never thought, that mere wisdom would be
of so much fun!" She grinned at me. "What would you think about going to a
Quiz-Show now?"
I couldn't believe, what I was hearing. Next to me sat the new goddess of
the universe - and the first... well... the second thing, she wanted to do, was
showing off in a Quiz-Show.
Typical library-bookworm, I thought.
