Around Jack a meadow appears and someone is calling out a name, a name which he thinks is his own.
"Quinta," the voice calls out as the meadow becomes clearer.
Jack feels calm when he hears this name and the fact that not only has he become heavier, but his hands and feet have started to hurt is completely missed.
"Quinta, come her girl," the voice, a young girl's calls out again.
Jack nickers in alarm and suddenly the thought, "I'll be damned. I've turned into a Dam," crosses his mind but is suddenly pushed out out as he suddenly feels himself running toward the voice.
A girl, no older then eleven is calling out, "Quinta, where are you girl," and Jack, now Quinta, happily runs toward her.
Accepting the sugar that the girl offers, Quinta suddenly overhears to men speaking softly. Realizing that the girl can't hear them, Quinta patiently allows the girl to put a riding saddle on her and for some reason pricks her ears up as one of the man comments softly, "She's a good horse, Quinta. I think she'll be perfect for breeding at the stud farm."
But what all this means is lost on Quinta as her owner clicks her tongue and tells her, "Giddy-up," to which she neighs pleasantly and begins a slow trot.
