Lack of trust requires time to mature

added by Captain Derisory 14 years ago A TG

"A lack of trust on your part requires then a time to mature, she who is impulsive must learn to control what she does. In short dear daughter, you need to get schooled in obedience, and learning to assert your powers at proper times.

Now then, go o your bedroom and give it s full spring cleaning, put everything neatly in its place and then we shall have a little talk." Mom said to her wayward daughter, as with head hung down in shame, Kat went to do her imposed job.

Three hours later and the bedroom which looked like a rummage sale, had a place for everything, and everything Kat owned set in its proper place.

"Wow, so damn orderly here, I even like the looks of this!" Kat muttered to herself, she felt a since of pride doing a job and doing it well.

Cathy walked to her bedroom door and called out to her mother, "Job is done mom!"

She stood there and listened, expecting her mother to come and check out just how clean a bedroom could get. Cathy yelled to her mother, expecting she was in the house but maybe down in the basement.

Again no answer came, Cathy felt wonder, and with her pride of accomplishment still wanting a mother to feel the same pride, Cathy stepped out of her bedroom and into the hallway.

Even as she stepped out of her room there seemed as if something of an invisible wall of force stood against her, but she being assertive, pressed against it, moving into it and then felt the force seem to envelop about her like she walked into a plastic bubble.

"Erg, yuck, Maa...," Cathy cried out, she felt as if something sticky held her, it seeped through her clothes and made her skin feel like she stood covered in a huge bubble of egg yoke.

Anxious over her odd and terrifying situation, Cathy tried to breathe, she inhaled, but the sticky slime surged up into her nose, coating her throat, and seeping up into every other opening as well.

Terror brought on her witch minded wonder as if this were some trick of her mother. As she felt the urge to speak and make a forceful sort of wish, her mind felt suddenly drained of all ability to wish anything. She thought of escaping her plight, and struggled against the glob of yuck the held her in place. Her trying to move had her lose her balance, and falling forward, Cathy reached out her arms and hands to cushion her fall.

Falling forward, the action happened as if in slow motion, easing Cathy forward to stand on the floor. As she felt her slow movement, Cathy seemed to take note of her arms and hands appearing as if to her as different.

As she fell, Cathy saw her mother come around a corner and stand there at the end of the hallway, she looking down at Cathy, but seemingly unconcerned about the strange plight Cathy had all around her.

The very instant that the fingertips of Cathy touched the hall carpet and floor, the yucky stuff holding and covering her just vanished, leaving her feeling quite satisfied and fully free to move.

Feeling somewhat silly if not embarrassed in her manner of stance, Cathy looked up at her mom.

"You will feel better in a few minutes, the spell I cast has its discomforts but when gone and finished with its task the person barely can remember their past or even being human." A concerned mother said to Cathy, as her daughter said nothing, but stunned by what she heard, she remained in her odd and foolish feeling position.

"Say nothing, but listen to me! As a young and inexperienced witch, you need to mature and the best way to do that is for you to spend some amount of time being less than what you were born.

My spell will last for a month at at time, and with every first day of every month I shall ask you to answer three questions. If you answer the question to my satisfaction, then your spell shall fade away and my daughter Cathy shall return to her previous human part of our family.

Huh, you do not understand yet, then I suggest you turn your head and take a good long look where you are to live, you being now our family pet Poodle and a Dog!" Said a mother of a witch, and a witch of a mother, she speaking to her large Poodle dog, a then male dog too!
