Another week passes then and Tim, or as she was calling herself, Tina was walking down the hall in school, trying to wrestle control of the dread she was feeling.
Suddenly a girl approached her and asked, "Do you want to come over to my house after school? We could play dress-up or do something else."
Tina's mind played tug of war with itself. Something sounded off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Scared, wanting time alone to think, she blurted out the first thing that came to mind. "Leave me alone, please. I don't want to do that, okay?" she told the girl, a hint of trepidation in her voice.
Laughter behind her and turning she found herself looking at the four girls. Turning, she watched as the girl who'd just asked her over after school morph into the fifth girl. Looking at Tina, she pointed a finger and told her, "You fail. Only three more weeks for you to learn, but maybe you want to be a girl. Maybe we should leave you as a girl."
That said, she began walking down the hallway with the other girls, laughing. Tina stood were she was and suddenly she realized that not did she want to play dress-up, using make-up and clothes, but she was also wanted to try out for both the ballet team and the gymnastics team, but at the same time wanted to play with her dolls more then ever.
