Colin hit the button and expected to watch as his two friends both turned back into their dog forms. For that part, they obliged him by turning into a rottweiler and a German Sheppard just like they were supposed to.
What surprised him was when he suddenly lost his balance and fell off the chair. Shocked, he looked at his hands, only to watch them transform into paws.
"What the hell?" he tried to ask, but all that came out were a few barks. It took him only a moment to realize that he had turned into a German Sheppard.
The last dog he had been when he had mated with his transformed friend.
The two females seemed happy with their friend being a dog, but since he couldn't talk with them he couldn't figure out if it was because they were still so deep in the dog mindset or because they wanted some revenge.
Colin tried no to react as he tried to think this through. Trying to read the computer screen was a bust, the transformation had locked out his ability to read, like a real dog. He knew almost instantly that he had problems.
The dogs Rob and Bryan had been owned, they had tags they still wore, and so were safe. Colin, since he'd only had a two hour limit before, had just changed himself. Assuming that there wasn't still a short limit, he was just a stray dog.
Colin realized that if he didn't find help, he and his friends would be dogs forever!
