"Who are you?" you asked the girl in the doorway.
"I'm Mary Sue" the girl said. "I'm your new sister."
You stared at Mary for a few moments. She was about sixteen with shoulder length jet black hair and hazel eyes. Her breasts looked to be about an average size. She seemed like she would be a great older sister and she knew that you were new to the family. "H-how did you know?" you asked.
"We've known that you were coming for the past two months" Mary said. "How else do you think we were able to get your room ready for you?"
"I thought that they had altered reality" you said.
"They didn't fully explain it to you then" Mary said and sighed. "They told us that the only thing that they could change was the body. Reality and mental changes are beyond their capabilities."
"So how am I a part of your family then?" you asked utterly confused.
"They had Mom and Dad sign some adoption papers."
"But adoptions take a long time. How did they do this in two months?"
"I guess they have connections that helped to push it through. Mom and Dad should be home any minute. Let's go downstairs and wait for them. Oh, your shoes are in your closet."
You opened your closet and found not one pair of shoes but ten pairs. You just stood there wondering which to pick up when Mary said "Put on the white Nike's." You did as she said and followed her downstairs. A few moments later a car pulled up and a man and woman came in. They appeared to be in their early to mid forties. The woman had sort, curly dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She was thin but not too thing and she had a smaller chest than Mary. The man had black hair and brown eyes. He was husky without being overweight. Your gaze kept going back to the woman though. You've seen her before but you can't remember where.
"Look who popped in while you were gone" Mary said.
"You must be Abigail" the woman said. "We're so glad that you're a part of our family now. You came at just the right time. The studio is having a Mother/Daughter day tomorrow. You'll be allowed to watch the filming and there might be a chance that you can get a part if you want."
"What part would that be Mom?" Mary asked.
"Well there are several parts that are being considered" your mother said. "One is as Samantha's adopted daughter and another is as her niece. It would delight me if you two got those parts. But I'm not going to push you into acting. It's up to you if you want to do that or not."
Now you remember where you saw her. How could you have forgotten? It was one of your favorite TV shows. Alice Rose played Samantha Maple on The Hidden. It was a supernatural show filmed in Forks, Washington. Samantha was a supernatural agent tasked with keeping the mundane population from finding out about the supernatural to prevent a panic and of course to catch the bad guys. Samantha's niece was added during the show's second season and the teen they signed was named Mary Sue Rose. There was talk about Samantha adopting a girl but that never materialized. That was five years ago though. It looked like you were teleported back in time. Now you had a choice to make. Should you try acting or not? If you did would it be against the rules? You did know that the series was popular. There had been talk of the show possibly going for ten seasons or longer. If you did act on the show it would be with that knowledge and you thought that it might be punishable. What should you do?
