Micah rolled picked up the dice, rubbing his changed feet with a sigh. "This is getting a little out of control, you know." He was met with a few nods from the others. He rolled the dice on the board, watching them come to a stop with double fives. "With my bonus.. thirteen spaces." He moves his piece into the tan expanse of the board signifying the desert. He stopped a good distance in, and a card popped out on his side.
Taking the card gingerly, he flipped it over and read aloud. "While journeying through the desert you come upon an oasis. The oasis is the lair of the Sultan of the Sands, you are brought before him and given food and drink. After the feast the Sultan approaches you and asks you to help him overthrow the Queen of the Marshes. The vizier pulls you aside afterwards and whispers into your ear that he can help you become the Sultan yourself, choose."
Once Micah finished reading the card two spaces appeared to either side of the one his piece is on. By one is the image of a large man, dressed in the robes of a desert nomad with a large crown like turban on his head, the Sultan. To the other side is an image of a thin man in long robes, carrying a staff of office, the Vizier. Nothing can be made out of the individuals themselves.
