Scanning the crowd Lisa finally spotted her target. There he was tall, hansom, captain of the football team, Josh. Just one touch and not only would he be hers but she would finally be one of the popular girls. Going to parties, hanging out with friends, having friends, and all the while getting the undivided love and attention of the hottest guy in school.
As she started toward her new boyfriend she noticed the cheerleaders practicing near where he was leaning against the wall of the school. "Hm.." she thought with a giggle "he is the captain maybe I'll get to be a cheerleader in a few moments."
She paused in her mission for a few seconds, watching the squad practice, as she let the fantasy wash over her. Fortunately the cheerleaders here weren't the stereotypical "queen of the school" bitchy types that existed in popular media. In the few dealings she had with them they hadn't been mean or cruel to her, (neither had they invited her to any parties but she couldn't really fault them for that). She definitely thought she could be friends with them.
Coming back to the present Lisa remembered this didn't have to be a fantasy, in fact a little farther, and she would be well on her way to making this and all of her other dreams a reality.
Turning away she started walking around the pyramid the cheerleaders were trying to erect, in order to get to her Josh who was standing on the far side. Just then Lisa felt something large hit her from above, driving her face first into the ground and forcing the air out of her.
Upon rolling over still dazed Lisa realized what must of happened. The pyramid the cheerleaders had made was gone and 3 other girls were on the ground nearby. The must have fallen and hit her on the way down. All thought driven from her by the impact Lisa was more than happy to continue lying on the ground until a couple of members of the squad appeared above her and started to help her up.
They got her sitting down the edge of a nearby planter before Lisa realized the gravity of what had happened. She had touched several of the cheerleaders by now and sure enough now that her head was clearing she could feel a faint tickling sensation that she assumed was the change taking hold. She had no idea who had touched her first or if they had all touched her at the same time. Also how would the potion react to several people touching her like that. Worried Lisa assured the girls that had helped her that she would be fine and hurried into the school to find a place to ride out the changes. If only she knew what she was going to become.
