At first, Mike couldn't believe his bad luck. The farmers daughter may have initiated the encounter, but he doubted that her father would wait for an explanation once he found out in the morning. He was stuck in the barn to await his fate.
Nia, for her part, was standing and slowly going over her nude human form, her much larger breasts, and slowly looking over her equine body. "Well," she said quietly, "This was unexpected."
Mike was sweating with fear. "I'm sorry, Nia. I had no idea..."
She cut him off, wrapped her arms around his body and gave him a hug, "Shush." She tapped a rear hoof in thought, "I never really shared my fathers attidutes toward your... our... kind," she said with a slight grin. She ran her hands down the centaurs back and stopped at the magic saddle. With a swift movement, she undid the buckle and lowered it quietly to the floor.
Mike felt a surge of energy as his free will was restored. He bunched up to bolt out of the barn, but stopped. "You can't stay here," he said to Nia. "At best your father would make you take my place."
"Are you offering to take me with you?" she said with a sly grin.
He laid his hand on her cheek. "I wouldn't mind, but it's going to be dangerous. I'm a stranger to this land and I don't know where to find others of my own kind. I was with a traveling group, but I have no idea what happened to them. This little escape may just be a short trip to something far worse."
She shrugged, "I know this area, at least right around the farm. I should be able to guide us far enough away so we'll be safe. Besides, like you said, it's not like it's going to be safe for me here come morning."
They nodded in silent agreement, then went to the back door of the barn and slipped out. Nia took the lead, taking to her centaur form as if she'd been born to it. They leapt over the fence along the edge of the woods and vanished together in the night.
