Status Reminder
1. Kari - Fuzzy armed, stealth bonus against Earth King's followers, captured by Earth King's enemies, fish tail
2. Richie - Ten years old, hawk eyes, naga, Spirit
3. Angel - Hawk eyes, has potion of speed, in heat (lose next turn)
4. Darwin - Naga (current turn)
5. Ester - Vixen, Forest Guardian (trapped in forest), forest camo, in heat (lose next turn)
6. Micha - Desert Sultan's eight year old daughter (trapped in desert, movement cut in half), becomes a half human half scorpion creature every other turn
"I think I know who the Earth King's enemy is" Darwin said. "I think it might be the Desert Sultan. The desert will be torture for Kari if she's taken there. I'm going to roll now and hope that something good happens." He picks up the dice and takes a deep breath. He briefly wondered if the pheromones had worn off of Angel since her turn was skipped. "Well, here goes nothing" he said as he rolled the dice.
In a stroke of luck, the dice managed to roll the exact number Darwin needed to reach Richie. “All right, Richie I’m heading towards you.” Darwin said out loud, so Richie would hear him. Darwin watched as his piece moved a crossed the board to the plains square where Richie is located. Once he arrived a card came out.
“You have found a teammate with a Spirit curse; do you wish to let him share the use of your body?” The Card read. “You better be thankful for this Richie,” Darwin said aloud, “Yes, I wish to let him cohabitate my body.” Darwin was expecting Richie would be something like a split personality in his body, or maybe a voice in his head, he didn’t expect what would happen really happen.
He jumped when he felt a shifting sensation on his scales. He watched as his pattern of Dark brown slowly shifted into a light green. He also felt a strange sensation with his tail and looked at it in time to witness its size decrease by a few feet. He wondered briefly if he was getting younger again. Darwin froze for a moment, as he realized that line of thought could only come from Richie. He shook his head, at least he wasn’t trapped in the plains anymore.
He frowned briefly, something wasn’t right and he knew it. He moaned as he felt his groin suddenly start to shift. Slowly his dark green snakehood emerged from his body, but momentarily after a second one emerged. As Darwin/Richie looked down at the light green appendage he suddenly understood what was going on. They didn’t share the same body as much as they now shared the same mind!
He looked down at his new body, Dark green with a light green pattern, and marveled at it. His attention to his body was short lived however as the room started to go out of focus, recalling that Ester was incapacitated this turn (His snakehoods briefly came to attention as he thought of what she was probably doing right now) he said out loud, “Micha,” His voice echoed, as if said by Darwin and Richie at the same time, “Its your turn now”. And he slowly faded out from the room, Micha appeared in the room.
Micha shook her head to get rid of the distortion that suddenly being in one place, then suddenly in another place, brought on. She looked around the room, after hearing Richie and Darwin say together that it was her turn, in almost perfect sync, she was a tad apprehensive of seeing them again. As she grabbed the dice she wondered if Richie toke complete control of Darwin. She was thinking about this when she felt a strange feeling, almost as if her skin were thickening.
Recalling her curse suddenly, she looked down and watched as her skin darkened as if she suddenly got a dark tan, and she watched in a sort of fascinated hour as she saw her skin starting to harden into plates. Micha moaned as the back of her over sized jeans started to bulge, quickly they were gone as her new tail ripped through them, its stinger gleaming in the light. At this point she dropped the dice from her shifting hands and they fell onto the board.
