"So if I wanted to become anything I wanted, I could just use the ring?" she asked Circe, one last time. "Yes you may, Mistress," she replied. Anna thought awhile. At the age of twelve, many thoughts rushed through her young mind often. She looked very mature for her age but she was as curious as a six year-old. After awhile, she came to a decision. "Circe," she said in her mind. "What is it, mistress?" replied the ancient sorceress. "I want you to turn me into a werewolf." This request shocked Circe a bit. "Are you sure that is wise, child?" "I'm certain. I've heard so many stories about them. I've wondered for so many years about how it must feel to be one." "If it is your desire, mistress, I will do so." Anna began to glow but nothing else happened. "Circe," she asked, "what's wrong? I didn't change." "You asked me to turn you into a werewolf," she told Anna, "and that is exactly what I did." "So I have to wait until a full moon so that I can change?" "No. A person turns into a werewolf every night not every full moon." So she waited for that moment when the sun would set and she'd become a werewolf.
