"Come Princess. I am your rescuer brave Prince Todd! Let us embrace and and ride off back to your kingdom with the good news!" States Prince Todd.
"You did nothing of the sort, the bull freed me from the cage and I saved you from being skewered by its horns!" Who does he think he is. He could have got me killed messing about with that boar. I look over to the poor little thing, now a tiny little calf. At least he's got someone to look after him and feed him by the looks of it! Just look at him goto work on that udder.
"You ungrateful wench!!" cries Prince Todd who seems to be having quite the tantrum. "I come out here to rescue you woman. The least you could do is thank me."
I sigh. Might as well play along to keep him happy until I find Serath. "Thank-you Todd but you see another Prince already came to rescue me and now I must find him."
"Another Prince? Well, where is he? Couldn't have been much of a rescue if you were still locked in a cage when I got here" he says in an annoyingly smug tone. I just ignore him and go over to the pig sty. One of these pigs must be Serath. They're all either bathing in the mud or eating maybe he just hasn;t noticed me standing here.
"What in blazes are you doing Princess?"
"Serath? Seeerath!" I call out but the pigs don't even bat an eye. What if he has forgotten who he is? What If he thinks he's just a pig?
Something brushes against my leg. Its the little calf. I try to smile at him.
"Hold on a second? Your would be rescuer didn't save you...because he is a pig? That is too rich! So which one is Prince Pork of Pig sty then? Ha ha the fact that you'd pick a pig over me just settles it, you are perhaps the most eccentric Princess I've ever met!!" Todd's laughter is really frustrating me!
I call out for Serath again. As I do the calf nudges me again. What does it want?
"Serath!" I call again and am nudged again. "Serath? Is that you?"
The little calf moos and nods!! I've found him! I hold the wand toward him, close my eyes and imagine him human again.
WAAAAAHHAHAHA!
The next thing I know a baby is crying. I open my eyes and at my feet is a tiny naked little babe. Well of course! I turned the bull into a calf so it makes sense the man is now a babe. Poor thing must be freezing.
"Now Princess, don't even think of using that wand again!" Todd says, his sword drawn toward me. "I rescued you and in return I get to take you as my bride. It is tradition! Now come along or do I have to make you."
The look in his eyes is deadly serious now. After all we've been through I won't lose Serath now. I can't help but close my eyes again and go to defend myself with the wand. Todd lunges at my hand with the sword. Theres a clash. I'm unharmed but Todd is gone. No not gone... changed. The first thing I thought of, the only thing on my mind was baby Serath. I had a maternal instinct to cloth him, to put him in a diaper. Now lying on the ground before me is a white cotton diaper where Todd had stood. The wand in my hand has been snapped in half, I couldn't change him back if I wanted to. More importantly I can't change Serath back! Suddenly, my thoughts are interrupted.
MOOOOO!!
The cow that had been feeding Serath has gone wild. She was watching the whole thing. She turns and tries to enter the house through the broken wall. What the hell is going on? Where's Morgana been all this time? Why was the wand out here in the first place? Is that cow... Morgana? It must be. Why else would she be going mad at the broken wand. It may explain why Serath was a bull too. Oh... I hope they didn't... ya know? I guess helping her change back is the only way I'll get Serath back now though. He's still crying, does he know whats going on? I pick him up, holding him in one arm while I reach down for the diaper with the other. I'm shocked out how light he is.
"Shhh," I reassure him "Mommies here, baby. Everything will be alright."
