Sam and Jake fill their glasses up again and again, but no matter how much they drank, they never felt more than slightly buzzed. “I’m not feeling drunk, are you?” Jake asks, taking another sip. Sam just shakes his head, “but that’s a good thing. We can handle more rides without getting sick.”
They both laugh and run down the boardwalk. Boys cheer, laugh, and drink all over the boardwalk. Some try their luck at some of the games, others are content just to drink. Sam and Jake made their way to just about every roller coaster they could see. They rode them to all hours of the night without any sign of slowing down. However, several of the other boys have started feeling fatigue.
With no beds available, boys make due with benches or even just the street, being careful not to crowd the center of the traffic areas. Sam and Jake get off another dizzying ride and look around, “man, they’re starting to make me feel tired,” Sam yawns. Jake shakes him a bit, “come on, get your eighth wind, and let’s hit another ride.” Sam shakes his head, “how about something less intense, like a funhouse?”
