Albert and Thomas looked at the newly transformed Isaac and the previously transformed Jimmy.
"So," Albert said, looking at Ty. "You're a genie?"
"Genies are impossible," said Thomas.
"Do you have an alternate hypothesis?" asked Albert.
"Well," said Thomas, looking at Isaac, "Isaac just suddenly turned into a giant. A basketball giant, not a mythological giant, but...."
"Giants? Genies? Those are pretty good ideas," Ty said. "Thanks."
He looked at Thomas, who started to get larger and larger, rising up to meet Isaacs towering seven feet then surpassing it, continuing up until he bumped his head on the eight foot ceiling and hunched over. Ty stopped the growth when he hit his head on the ceiling again.
Albert, on the other hand, also swelled up, but gaining huge muscles, amazingly huge, as he grew larger as well, but only from the waist up. His waist kept the same skinny geeky proportions as before, even though he now also stood seven feet tall or a bit more. He gave the impression of a genie rising out of a bottle, or at least a pair of skinny jeans. Thomas, on the other hand, looked like a giant. Maybe not a mythological one, but Robert Wadlow nine-foot big.
"I've got magic," Ty explained.
Thomas stood hunched over. "Well, that does seem a reasonable hypothesis...."
