The branch to the right of Dan exploded in a flurry of tattered leaves as the shot narrowly missed his elegant deer self. He ran at an astonishing pace, desperately trying to avoid such a terrible fate.
Eventually, he cleared a fallen tree and leapt across a thick stream, dissapearing into the wooded area before him. The hunters had lost him.
Dan continued through the woods until he came to a grassy clearing, at which he point he fell to the ground in exhaustion. Gasping for breath, he was unable to work out what to do. "What has she done to me?!"
Just then, a rustling was heard in the bushes.
