Your mind is still reeling with emotions. You've already told Alice that you deserve whatever she gives you, and you believe it, but a part of you is still screaming out for escape. Your family, your friends, your entire life... can you really leave it behind, even for someone as special as Doe? Even now you remain unsure, but it's become clear that the choice is no longer yours. Alice has decided to keep you here and you are bound. There is no escape.
"Doe, come here please," Alice calls out, and soon the girl that's leaving you so torn walks through the door. You only need one look at her face to make you feel more miserable than you ever have, the look of sheer despair she has from you deciding to abandon her when you should have known you would never escape, choosing a minuscule chance at freedom over your feelings for her. Alice grabs your chin and turns you to face her, knowing your attention will stick with Doe otherwise. "You say that I can punish you however I want, and that you deserve it. I would have to agree, of course, but it's not my decision to make. It's Doe's heart that you've broken. I think she should be given the choice. If she says to set you free, so be it. If not... so be it."
Alice walks out, leaving the two of you alone. Any doubt that you deserve whatever fate is thrust upon you melts away - you know that what you've done to Doe has put her through terrible pain, and this is perhaps the most just way for things to go. But still, you want to plead with her. Not to go easy on you, not to let you free, only to forgive you.
"Doe, I-"
"Please, don't." She looks away. "I cared for you, I really did. I thought... I thought Alice was wrong. She treats you men like monsters, but I thought there could be something between us." Tears start to stream down her muzzle. "I still love you, but... I don't think I can ever be with you again. Not after this. You hurt me far worse than she ever could, and for that... I don't know. I don't know what to do."
