Dana walked out of the women's room and back into the bright light. She felt absolutely fine, and sighed, partially relaxed. She had been worried over the sunlight for nothing. Confidently striding up to the assembly hall, she paused just outside the door. This was probably her last chance to run, to try to directly fight back against Astara. She considered this for a few seconds, before remembering that Astara was telepathic. Dana didn't have much of a chance of foiling her plans, seeing as how Astara would know instantly if Dana tried to betray her...
Dana suddenly felt her tail again, and whirled around to look. It didn't seem to be there. No longer so confident, Dana tried to calm herself down. She couldn't let some spell Astara had put on her make her paranoid. It wasn't like she was some mortal, frightened out of her wits every time something she didn't expect happened. The doors finally slammed shut, but they had turned into a gigantic arch. The arch barred itself tightly, locked, and had several glowing blue runes appear on it; nothing was opening it.
Dana turned around. Nobody seemed to notice what had happened to the door; it wasn't in view of the benches where the students were assembled, anyway. Gulping at the obvious show of Astara's power, Dana's tail hung down as she wondered what was to happen next...
