Both Allison's and Jen's shelters had TVs. The demons seemed unable to block the satellite signal. The TV's were usually tuned to BBC News, which seemed to be ignoring the situation. Suddenly the words "London crisis" flashed on the screen.
Prime Minister Cameron had a serious expression on his face as he addressed the nation. No country, he asserted, could tolerate demons controlling any part of its territory. He gave the demon wolves 12 hours to clear out. Brave words, thought Charlene, but what if they don't.
"While I have the utmost confidence in British forces" the prime minister continued "the demonic lycanthropes currently infesting parts of our capital may feel that they have supernatural powers we cannot match. They may rest assured that we have supernatural aid of our own, coming from a rather different quarter than they themselves are familiar with."
The camera cut away to what was unmistakably, even through the TV signal, an angel.
"Oh no." muttered Shaela.
"What?" said Charlene. "An angel, that's good, right? It was an angel that rescued me from Karther."
"That's Azrael, the angel of destruction. He'll defeat these wolves, no question, but you may not have much of a city left standing."
Just then Jen cried out. "The last girl! The last girl in the team has just come into her power! Magical Girl Club, assemble!"
