Jeff walked back into his room, the corner of his mind noting how it had changed. The walls were painted in bright colors of red, yellow, and orange. The model airplanes and cars he'd built had been altered into circus wagons and old biplanes with clowns in the pilot seats. The ones of Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, and the Wolfman had changed into Emmett Kelly, Lou Jacobs, and Bozo. Even that poster Jeff had of the Swedish Bikini Team now showed five silly but still rather sexy clown girls in multicolor, ruffled, and polka dotted swimsuits.
Jeff just sat down at the computer on his desk an typed what he wanted when he heard, "What happened to your room, Jeff?"
Jeff looked and saw his sister standing in the doorway. "This machine did it," he said, pointing to the Chronivac. Just like it changed me."
Amy walked over to her brother. She pulled at his nose and giggled when it honked. She wiped the side of his face and saw that the white didn't come off. Then inspiration hit her, and she ran her hand over Jeff's shiny smooth pate and pulled at the thick curly red fringe on the sides. "You're really bald!"
"I'd appreciate it if you'd stop pulling what's left of my hair," Jeff said, trying to sound as annoyed as he could in this Goofy-Bullwinkle type voice.
"Sorry." Amy put her hands behind her back. "Could it change me too? I want to see what it's like."
"I'm glad you asked." Jeff pressed the ENTER key on his keyboard and the emitter beam hit his sister.
Amy's shirt and jeans merged together into a single garment. The sleeves of her shirt stretched to her wrists. The colors of her clothes shifted and merged until her suit was red on oneside yellow on the other. While the sleeves and legs became baggy they tightened at the wrists and ankles. A white ruffled collar emerged around Amy's neck, and simialr cuffs appeared on her wrists and ankles. Bright red pom poms apprear from her neck down to her crotch. Amy's socks changed into red and white stripes, while the toes of her mary-janes stretched and widened, turning yellow with a red bow at the buckles, and white gloves appeared on her hands.
Amy closed her eyes and her mind went blank. Her skin paled to a a soft ivory white, while her cheeks turned rosy, making a permanent blush. Her eyeboys disappeared completely, and an electric blue diamond emerged around each eye. Her lips stretched and turned red, givng her a clown mouth like her brother's only smaller. Her hair curled into a small afro and become a neon red matching what was left of Jeff's hair, topped by a white bow.
The final change came as the tip of her nose turned red and inflated into a red clown nose like Jeff's only covered in glitter.
Amy opened her eyes and saw the touch of glittering red. Gingerly she touched her nose, and giggled when she heard it squeak. "I love it! Let's go show Mommy!"
"Just a second." Jeff actually grinned as he typed one more change into the computer.
