Lisa made her way over to where Josh was standing, trying desperately to not touch anyone else. It was hard, though, maneuvering through the crowded hallway.
As she made it to a clearing, Lisa stopped for a moment. From behind, her only friend, Chloe, walked up, giving her a hug. Lisa tried to squirm away, but found it was no use; she felt a tingle, knowing the formula was taking effect now.
"How are you doing?" she asked Lisa, a huge smile on her face. The two had been friends since third grade and had been through everything together. Of course, since they were both branded losers--spending time reading or studying for tests, not going to any parties--they were at the very bottom of the high school food chain.
Lisa's gaze was transfixed on Josh, only about ten feet from her. She was so close! She could feel her body changing, wondering who Chloe's ideal partner was.
Chloe met her gaze and smiled slightly. "Come on, Lisa. That is a world we'll never know about."
The two walked away going to class. Lisa going to Chemistry and Chloe to Algebra II.
Who was Chloe's ideal partner?
