DING!
A bell sounds from nowhere in particular, ropes cording off the part of the room you and Alice are standing in and providing a perfect boxing ring. Pumped to get the fight started, you step forward and you're... already on the floor. Your head is ringing and you can't even remember being hit, but Alice is standing above you with a cocky smile crossing her lapine muzzle. She backs off, giving you a chance to bring yourself to your feet, and the fight begins again. You aren't about to get caught off guard - there's too much at stake - so you raise your hands, ready to stop a punch dead in its tracks, bounding from foot to foot waiting for her to make her move. And then you're on the floor again, and once again Alice is standing over you, laughing.
"Oh come now, where's that spirit I saw in you before? I'm sure you can do better than this!"
You give your head a shake, unsure how she's moving so quickly, hitting you so fast even without you seeing it. Hell, you aren't even FEELING the punches. Rising to your feet, you make sure to keep a particularly close eye on her this time, not moving a muscle. She moves towards you and you back away, only to fall again and land flat on your back. She's still laughing at you, but when you sit up you immediately see the cause of your problems - your shoelaces are tied together. Worse yet, they're actually melded together, strands of latex holding them so that they can't be pulled apart. Obviously not having the time to deal with the problem, you scramble to your feet, kicking the shoes off and ready to kick some-
DING!
Alice is already standing in her corner, clearly unphased by the fact that you'd caught her deception. "Knocked down three times in one round? My my, I doubt the judges think much of that!" That cocky smile still crosses her face while you stand in your corner preparing for the next match. You don't know how many more rounds you've got to wipe that smile off her face, but so long as she can't use those cheap tricks you should only need one.
