"I thought this was supposed to work quickly," said Kim.
Jessi replied, "Well, it might take a minute -- ooh!" She felt a strange churning sensation in her stomach.
"Whoa, what's the matter?" asked Nikki.
"Nothing --" started Jessi, but she was surprised to hear Mary answer "Nothing" simultaneously. She turned to see her three roommates with looks of discomfort on their faces; they looked about the way she felt.
Fortunately, the churning eased, although it was replaced by an odd tingling. Jessi saw that her roommates were now looking a bit confused.
She felt as if the weight on her chest was increasing, and she instinctively looked down. Her eyes widened as she saw the unmistakable sight of her breasts swelling beneath her T-shirt.
"Holy shit!" exclaimed Terri.
"Oh, my God, you guys are changing," said Nikki helpfully.
Jessi tore her gaze away from her own body to look at the other three. It was as if she were watching an incredibly well-done movie special effect, as they literally morphed before her eyes. Their breasts were growing, their hair was lengthening (except for Terri's, which was getting shorter), their clothes were shrinking, their legs were lengthening...
"Jessi, what's going on?" Mary practically wailed.
"I don't knub --" Jessi started to talk, but she could feel her lips enlarging. Once that sensation died down, she started again: "I don't know! Nikki was supposed to change!"
"I was supposed to change?!" Nikki repeated.
"Oh, Nikki, we're so sorry!" said Mary, who was suddenly standing on her tiptoes as a pair of high-heeled platform pumps appeared on her feet. "Jessi found this old book of magic potions in the library, and we started reading it, and we decided we'd try one out on you, and --" SHe looked down at what were now a set of volleyball-size breasts barely contained in a sequined halter top and could only let out a stifled gasp.
Jessi looked around to check the damage. Except for Nikki, her roommates were only vaguely recognizable. They'd all become taller, their bodies voluptuous, their faces subtly changed to add beauty but now covered with a thick layer of garish makeup, their clothes like something out of a male fantasy, and a couple of visible tattoos apiece. Fortunately, each still had a distinct hair color, although Mary's blonde hair had turned platinum, almost white, as it grew to the middle of her back; Kim's red hair was now closer to the color of a fire engine than a carrot, and it extended well past her ass; Terri's jet-black hair had gained some purple streaks as it shortened into an unbelievably sexy chin-length style. Jessi could see out of the corner of her eye that her brown hair hadn't changed color much, although she could feel that it was about the same length as Mary's.
Nikki cut to the chase. "You turned into sluts!" she exclaimed.
The four transformees had the same thought at the same time, and ran -- as best they could in their towering high-heel shoes -- for the hall bathroom. They stood in front of the sink looking into the mirror, each looking at themselves. Jaws dropped, revealing pierced tongues. Terri stared straight at the corset top that was causing what seemed like acres of breast flesh to push upward.
Kim was the first to find her voice. "You know -- you know -- we've kind of gotten what we wanted."
"What?!" Terri practically yelled in disbelief.
"With us looking like this -- no guy is going to look twice at Nikki."
"She's got a point," said Mary, as she ran her hand over the tattooed ring of flowers that now encircled her upper left arm. "Maybe we should go out."
"You've gotta be kidding," sighed Terri. "You don't think we should try to reverse this fucking spell right away?"
"Well..." Kim drummed her elongated fingernails on the bathroom counter and finally said, "It would be kinda fun. Like Halloween, sort of."
"I don't believe this," groaned Terri. "Jess, what do you think?"
