Introductions

Juna giggled, picking up the raccoon mask. She looked it over with her jade eyes, it seemed to be just a cheap and ordinary plastic mask. The fur on the front didn't even seem genuine, it was brittle and obviously fake. She placed the mask on her face, it's fake muzzle sat just over her nose, covering her forehead, eyes, nose and upper lip. Noticing that others had either brought something or picked a different object; watching her newly met friend Rose pick out the collar with a bell, she quickly followed her classmates to the student dorms, eager to unpack and get acquainted with others.

Once in the dorms, she looked around the room. It was fairly ordinary. The rooms were painted a bright white, with fresh green carpet. Each room had two sets of bunk-beds, each room easily fitting four students. She looked around the room, noticing only one other person, her legs dangling off of the top bunk. Juna walked cautiously over to the person, attempting not to surprise her. "Excuse me!" She chirped, the other female sat up in response.

The new person was far more athletic than Juna or Rose. She sported short spunky blond hair and fair skin. She had some scarring on her right arm; Juna could not identify with the markings. "Hello!" Juna offered her hand out politely, the other girl responding promptly with a return shake. "Cassandra. Or just Cassie," Juna paid special attention to what Cassandra was wearing: a necklace with a blue scale attached to it like a pendant. "This is my second year at the AA," Cassandra spoke as she hopped off the bed. She was a head taller than Juna once they stood side by side, "Its my job to break in the new recruits in this dorm."

Just then Rose peeked through the door. Her bell jingled, as she barely opened the door and slid in with a bundle of books in her arms. She fiddled with her glasses and sighed, just glad to be off the train ride. Rose hadn't looked at the other two in her room, that was until Juna practically pounced on her, giving her a tight hug. "Awesome! Roomies!" She yelled, giggling happily that she would at least be with someone she knew.

Cassie looked around the room, "Well you two can share bunks it looks like. I still have one more first-year to meet up with." Oddly, as if on cue, the door creaked open. A young man walked in, carting a backpack on wheels. He was average looking, sandy brown hair and a hint of a farmers tan on his arms and face. His dress clothes were a little to big for him, his belt tightened to the furthest length and his untucked shirt going below his groin. Cassie sighed, "Why can't I get stuck with an all-girl dorm?" She walked over to the new guy, and looked him over up and down. "Where's your animal-charm?"

Kurt blushed and reached into his backpack.. he hoped he hadn't forgotten it at home. His parents and his parent's parents belonged to a clan of...
