While the downtown area was being overrun by dragons, Dustin sat at home, watching TV. "Where the hell did Ty go? I wanna kick his ass for what he did to me. I know he did it." Dustin continued flipping channels, until a news broadcast caught his eye. "This is no joke! Dragons are attacking the city! Their leader, a huge dragon who calls himself Ty, claims to be the new god of Earth, and that dragons will replace humans as the top of the food chain!" Dustin's jaw dropped. "What the hell did Ty do?!" Dustin had no intention of having Earth be ruled by dragons. He knew Ty would come for him and kill him, after all the bullying Dustin had done. "Shit! I gotta get out of here!"
Dustin was stopped by a portal that appeared. A girl came out. She was a brunette, and wore strange clothes. A weird watch was on her wrist. "Dustin! You're alive!" The girl hugged him. "Uh... Do I know you? And what the hell is that portal?!" "No time, no time! We gotta go!" "But-" The girl grabbed Dustin and dragged him into the portal. Dustin blacked out.

When Dustin awoke, he found that he was inside what looked like a jail cell. "Ugh... My head hurts... Wait, that girl! Ty! Dammit." The door of the cell opened, and the mystery girl entered. "Who are you? I want answers!" The girl sighed. "Of course you wouldn't recognize me. It's been 5 years, and my body isn't the same as it was." "Wait, 5 years? We went forward in time?!" She nodded. "I had to bring you here. It's said that you are the only one who can bring down Ty."
"Ugh. Look just tell me who you are." "My name's Jane. You knew me as your friend Jason, 5 years ago." Dustin was extremely surprised. "J-Jason?! But... What happened?!" Jane began to explain. "5 years ago, Ty the God of Dragons appeared and released dragons into the world. Dragons slowly began to conquer the world, and humans either became part dragon or became the dragon's slaves. Me, and some others, hid for as long as we could, but we got caught. I was sold to a dragon woman who was a lesbian, so she had me genetically modified."
"I escaped the woman and fled into the city's sewer system, where I found many other refugees. We worked together to free other humans, but our numbers our small. Our wisest member, your mother, June, was changed to have her mental capacity boosted. She prophesied that you would be able to defeat Ty. If you need a few moments to take all this in, it's fine."
Dustin didn't know what to say. His friend is a girl, his step-brother is a god, and the world is ruled by dragons. "B-but, why me?" "Elder June has said that you have the ability to perceive that Ty's power exists. If we can awaken your power as the Chosen One, then we can defeat Ty." Dustin was scared. Could he take down a god? "...Fine. I'll do anything to kick his ass!"
