Kyle couldn't sleep either. He just layed there in his bed. Around
10:00pm, he saw his brother Max, looking rather sick, wobble into the
bathroom. Hearing his brother turn on the water made him feel worse.
He felt sooo hot. After waiting fifteen minutes, he could no longer ignore it. He figured his brother would be nice enough to let him have
a turn at laying in the tub. So with that in mind, he wobbled into the
bathroom, and to his surprise, he didn't see Max in the tub.
He moved closer and just saw some brownish goo floating in the water.
The goo looked disgusting, but the water looked sooo inviting. Without
giving another thought, he slipped into the water. It was so relaxing.
He felt like he was melting into water, becoming like water. Thats
when he realized he was melting into the water. But like his brother,
he realized too late.
Withing moments he floating on top of the water as brownish goo. This
strange form he was in felt oddly...comfortable. Then he heard someone
calling his name, it sounded like Max. Not knowing if he had a mouth
or not, he tried yelling to his brother, "Max, don't step into the
tub. It might melt you too."
He heard his brother reply, "I was already melted, Kyle. I was trying
to warn you, but I guess you didn't hear me."
"You were that goo floating on the water"
"Yeah, I don't know how it happened, but somehow I melted into goo,
and now you have too."
"How are we able to talk to each other?"
"I don't know, its weird. Anyways, I noticed, before you came in, that
I could somewhat move my goo body. I managed to cling onto the chain
for the drain and lift out a little so..."
"So the water is going draining, but that means we will be sucked
down."
"No, I also found out that we can stick to the sides of the tub. So if
we move to the back of the tub and stick there. We will be safe from
being sucked down."
Kyle was about to argue about how stupid the plan sounded, but he
figured that he had no choice but to go along with it. With that, they
began to 'move' their bodies toward the back of the tub by splashing
the water around them. Their splashing did get them to the back of the
tub, but it also blended most of their goo bodies together. Without
them knowing.
Minutes later, the last bit of water sank through the drain, and Kyle
and Max were safe. "See," Max proudly stated, "my plan worked."
"Yeah, but now what? We are still goo" Kyle pointed out. "What's your
plan for...wow, did you feel that?"
"Yeah, I do. It feels like I am starting to un-melt. I guess now that
the water is gone, our bodies are starting to reshape themselves."
