Not really knowing what to do, Drew and Luke went to attack the werewolf. Drew and Luke threw their bikes down to the loose dirt beneath their feet and ran after the auburn furred werewolf. The creature just looked at the two with what they thought was a smile. Both of them thought that they were crazy for doing this, especially seeing the werewolf for what he was. The werewolf was six feet tall, with huge masses for muscles and moved swiftly evading everything the two humans threw at him.
Exhausted from attacking the air, Drew and Luke stopped what they were doing and gave up. When they stopped, the werewolf stopped moving and they could see it more clearly. Other than the huge muscles which they noticed right away, the werewolf also had huge paw-hands with extremely sharp claws, a large and fluffy tail to help keep his balance while moving so swiftly, not to mention what looked like a huge bulge beneath the fabric of his torn jean shorts. The werewolf growled, then went to attack the two. Moving just as swiftly as he did before, Drew and Luke tried to run and evade the werewolf but felt his icy claws shred through their skin, while feeling the oddly cool flow of blood seep from their deep lacerations. Both Drew and Luke fell to a bloody heap onto the dirt with their blood freely pouring from their bodies.
Remembering what they just heard from who they thought was an old man, Drew and Luke hoped that the creature would give them a choice because they knew if it didn't, they were going to die there and become his next meal.
Having won the battle, the werewolf slowly moved up to the duo and just stood there hovering over the two. Deciding what he was going to do to them, he stood there tapping his right hind paw on the loose dirt below.
In a low and guttural voice the werewolf spoke to them. "So... you mortals thought you could defeat that which you did not understand?"
Drew, being the braver of the two answered the wolf. "It's just that the old man said we would have to fight you to continue on through the park and if we won, you supernatural creatures would leave us alone so we could explore. That is why we attempted to fight you and now we see that we were both stupid fools for trying to fight you."
"So, the old man told you to fight me or anyone else you came across did he? He is always doing that... which usually ends up in a bloody mess when one of my kind can't control themselves and lose it in blood lust."
"We knew that the old man was like you creatures when we saw his fangs, but he is the one setting us up?"
"Yes, I am afraid so human. If you did not attack me or anyone of my kind, you would have been left alone regardless. We do like seeing humans in our park to explore and enjoy what it has to offer. The only other thing is, you humans are the second type of food that we consume, being meat based and all. Well, now I have to give you two a decision that you will have to make on your own. Since you are near death, you can either die or accept to be like me... a werewolf."
Coughing up a little blood, Drew spoke since Luke was passed out from the shock of his wounds. "What are the disadvantages of being like you?"
"To be honest, there is none, except for the fact that we cannot return to your world where we too were once from. My kind has vowed to leave your kind alone and to find other sources of sustenance here on our own. You will need to make your decision quick because I can tell from your amount of blood loss that you two don't have that much time left. Since your friend is passed out, you will have to decide for him."
Not wanting to see his best buddy die in front of Drew, nor wanting to choose a life altering decision for him, Drew makes a tough choice to...
