Harmony and Randi materialized in Randi's living room and her mother was watching the TV. "What do we have Mom?" Randi asked.
"You should hear it for yourself" Mrs. Moss said and turned the volume up.
"... like the plant from Little Shop of Horrors" a woman said. "I was just barely able to get away."
A young boy appeared next saying "It was a Drowsee but black and gray and skinny. It's fingernails were long and it's eyes were red. It's see through too."
A young woman appeared next. "I don't know what I saw" she said. "It had bird like legs, the body was furry, it had a tail like a peacock, the head looked like some type of dog with floppy ears but it had a beak instead of a mouth. They eyes were glowing red. It was evil and I get chills just thinking about it." She shivered and hugged herself.
The camera focused back on the reporter with what looked to be the whole police department behind him looking at empty space. Just as Harmony was wondering what was going on something wavered in the air and it looked like part of a sign. It didn't stay long and it quickly faded from sight. While it was visible it was translucent. "Police are baffled as to what is happening here at Sunny Beach Mall" the reporter said. "Unofficial reports have about forty people still inside the mall which has mysteriously disappeared. You've just heard accounts of monsters that invaded the mall before it disappeared."
Mrs. Moss muted the sound right then and turned to Harmony and Randi. Harmony turned to Randi and said "I thought you said Vensurm were peaceful."
"They are" Randi said. "This is unusual."
"What are the other two creatures?" Harmony asked.
"The translucent one is a Drowsema" Randi said. "The other is a Domock."
"What does a Domock do?" Harmony asked.
"It's like the Sharmal you fought this morning" Infel said popping up in a mirror in the living room. "It eats souls. It then can use the energy it gets from the souls to warp things into a different dimension."
"It doesn't have the strength right now to completely warp the mall though" Randi said. "That's why pieces of it keep appearing."
"Well lets warp into the mall and take care of them" Harmony said.
"It's not going to be that easy" Randi said.
"You can't just warp into it" Infel said. "If you try you'll be lost or come out misshapen."
"So how do we get in?" Harmony asked.
"We'll have to walk in when a door wavers in" Randi said. "That's going to be really difficult with all the cops and TV cameras around. Also we could be waiting for hours for a door to waver in and we're sure to be discovered around there before that."
"You can hide us though" Harmony said.
"I could hide us for about a half hour" Randi said. "Even if a door wavered in during that time we would have to leave the illusion to enter the mall. Once we did we would be seen and there would be questions."
"So we just change to guys" Harmony said.
"The Domock would sense us outside and be ready for us" Randi said. Seeing the confusion on Harmony's face she continued "They sense male bodies but not female bodies. As long as we remain female the Domock will not be able to sense us and we might be able to take it by surprise."
Harmony looked back at the TV and noticed something. The cops and TV cameras were at the front of the mall. At the back was a tall dumpster and Harmony knew that there was a door just a few feet from it. The dumpster was tall enough to where they would be hidden standing up. The cameras weren't focused on that dumpster and it was blurry. They should be blurred too when they dashed for the door. "Randi, I think I have an idea" she said and then outlined her plan for getting in. "Can we do that?" she asked.
"It should be possible" Randi said. "I won't have to hide us unless someone comes close enough to actually see us behind the dumpster. I can blur us a bit more once we move from behind the dumpster. That should keep anyone from recognizing us."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Harmony asked placing her hand on Randi's shoulder and warping them to the dumpster behind the mall.
Once there Randi said "You didn't wait for me to see if anyone would be able to see us warp here."
"There's no one around" Harmony said.
