As you watch Ruth she seems to snarl clearly wishing to take her displeasure out on something, but is hampered by the steel muzzle she still wears. The guards begin looking up and down the street then talk among themselves, as Ruth keeps acting hostile to them. Then things get really strange to your watching eyes as all the guards except Jack shift into anthro canines. Ruth suddenly stops her antics and begins to sniff as she finds herself among dogmen. The locals of the docks long having learned being too interested in Pleasure Island business is bad for the health have all decided to go else where leaving the street totally empty as even all the shops have drawn blinds and curtains over store front windows as if closed for the day. The canine guards thinking their secret safe as who is Ruth going to tell, now shift fully into dogs as what was once hands become fore paws as they touch ground. Your heart beating faster at watching this unexpected show you find that your eyes are glued to the drama before you unable to look away. As if things could not get worst this is when Ruth begins talking with her captors in a series of barks, growls, and body movements that strangely you can almost understand as words. But as Ruth points her muzzle to the shop your hiding in one does not need to understand the canine language to know what was just said as all the guard dogs are now looking your way. Jack fumbles as he takes out another muzzle from his pack as he casts looks of horror at Ruth. But a few barks from the guard dogs have the human removing Ruth’s muzzle from the suddenly friendly bitch as she strains to push past the other dogs and race into her shop. Shows of fang make it all too clear to your mind that Ruth now craves revenge more then escape from her new pack. Is Jack one of the dogs too you wonder as your mind goes into over drive wondering how to escape now. Of course dogs would not be affected by that purple powder you think as it suddenly dawns on you how the guards used that stuff without fear of breathing it themselves.
