"I'll show that stupid fool who's the better! He'll see I can provide better for our needs than he could or would! His needs and wants are secondary to mine, I'll show him!" Lynn Adams thought to herself as she drove along.
Lynn's drive was long and time consuming. After ten plus hours of driving she reached the front gate of SunRise Farms.
The farm was very well kept with it's buildings painted red and white trimming. The front pasture had no less than twenty large draft horses grazing as Lynn stopped to open the front gate. A driveway lined with large Maple trees gave the look of a screene place to live and work.
As she parked at what was the largest home she'd seen ever the front door opened. A tall and thin woman stood smiling and welcomed Lynn to come inside. "You must be Lynn Adams, I'm Sarah Shyne and this is SunRise Farms!"
"I'm impressed, very impressed," said Lynn.
As they sat in the main living room Sarah began by asking some questions. "Lynn by your E-mail I had a thought you were looking for work as a get even attitude against your husband. Is this the reason you applied for work here?"
Lynn looked a little peaved as she answered, "yes and no! I'll explain! My husband was taking a job at the Marquette Draft Horse Breeding Farm in upper Michigan. It was offered I could join him there and we would work together, but he decided I should remain at home. This is what ticked me off, and made me look over the applications. I guess it was to show him I could lord it over him someday, but I would look forward to being my own self and learn to live for what satisfies' me!"
"Excellent, I applaude your choice for personal gratification! You employment here will I'm sure ultimately bring you together. I hope you will trust my insight in your love life with the desired end to see you fulfill your biggest female desire." said Sarah with a smile.
Lynn was escorted to her main floor bedroom. The room was bright and cheery with a set of French glass doors opening to a sun deck. The view was of the Eastern pasture where she saw mares grazing along side their foals. "This is great just great, I love the view, the deck, this is a nice perk." said Lynn.
"Rest, relax, I'll explain your work ethics in the morning. Till then we serve dinner at 6:30 and have project reviews for an hour after desert. I think the reviews will afford you a overview of my operations, till then bye!" said Sarah closing the door.
Lynnn kicked off her shoes and flopped on the bed. Looking at the ceiling she thought, "bet hubby isn't having as good a time up North right now! I hope he finds his job a real sucking problem which he deserves so very much! Oh hubby you think yourself a stud and I hope someday to see you enjoy becoming one but with someone else!"
The late afternoon passed quickly and soon dinner chimes sounded.
Walking into the large dinning room Lynn saw a dozen other people already sitting at the long table. "Come Lynn set next to me here on my left." said Sarah.
Lynn sat down as Sarah stood up, "Please welcome our newest employee, Lynn Adams! I expect that we shall guide her along into her new role in her life. I'm sure you shall find her to be bright of mind, quick of action, willing to learn, and ready to make all changes needed to be our a real asset to this farm."
Lynn just smiled and wondered if she could meet such abilities as Sarah just stated.
"Let me introduce your guides to our special little farm. First and formost in Doctor Samuel E. DuBois' as he oversee's the medical needs of our herd. Second to him is Janice Shelton his assistant, she directs Spicies and Gender assignment for our Breeding department. Then to her right is Joyce Carpenter as she handle's the legal arrangements needed for both employees and volunteers. Ahh, Stephen Witt, he aid's the farm grounds manager Fred Singleton next to him. Our birthing and mare health staff of Brenda, Veloria, Sandra, John, Ken, Anna, and last but not least my personal assistant Sir Lucious Natas Devil'e. It is Lucious who will in time be your director. It is his choice to place you in a position which best suits our needs here at SunRise Farms!" said Sarah as all others stayed very quiet.
The dinner was a fine feast of Turkey and all the fixings. After a Hot Fudge Sundae he all roamed to the livingroom for the project review.
