Tony started to unlock the door, and then he paused. He couldn't do it, as much as he wanted to. He felt weak again, helpless and small. He'd felt so powerful as the beast. He was ready to do it when he was the animalistic predator...but now, no.
He paused, waiting for the moon to re-emerge, waiting for it to bring the animal out in him once more. It wasn't that he didn't want to bite them, it was simply that he wanted to feel strong again when he did it.
"Come on, come on!" he said, watching the cloud bank ever-so-slowly roll away from the moon. He didn't want to be this weak shell of a man, he wanted to be the beast again! Finally, the clouds passed, allowing the moonlight to rain down upon him.
Every pore was alight with the tingling sensation of the change. Tony thrashed in the moonlight, shuddering in undeniable pleasure as the moon worked its magic upon him, stretching his body, making it swell with muscle and fur. He let out a howl as once again, he was the beast he desired to be.
